good, but it was not until the 3rd room that everything was working

The hotel looks very posh and elegant, though look a bit dated.The staff are attentive and ensure that you have everything you need. Really comfy beds and pillows, nice toiletries and great buffet breakfast - they also had quality coffee, which was a welcome surprise

Amazing service by staff from the moment you enter the foyer. Warm greetings throughout our stay .Nothing was too much trouble, even holding our bags. Lovely and clean room. Buffet breakfast was fantastic, with extremely attentive staff!!

I stayed at this motel for about 3 weeks because it was cheap compared to other motels and close to where I needed to be. The room was cold in the cold weather days but they provided a space heater to make up the difference. The room was equipped with a microwave and fridge, bed was comfortable and wifi was free. Close to bus stops and restaurants, (Thai cuisine right next door). I do want to add that they gave me a refund when I opted out a few days earlier than I planned to stay and I was grateful for that.

When we just entered in the way they greeted us was so good. And as the saying is "first impression is the last impression" ... they did it from welcoming to the reception and then to the room service....the good impressions all the way. well mannered staff.The rooms were nicely kept, bathrooms were neat and clean. In the whole staying here was homely.😊

From the reception to the room service the staff is so impressive. Friendly behavior and time to time cleaning it was just so good.Well appointed rooms. How can i forget the fitness centre and the yummy food. and big positive was that it is centrally located. Overall a well assisted stay in.

If i talk about this a worth stay in less penny i would preferably call. There are aired rooms, cattles provided, clean bathrooms. The best part is shopping areas are nearby as well as some good eating points are also nearby situated. What else a woman can ask for good food, clean environment, shopping areas and nice places to visit around.

We really enjoyed our stay at Derrick Motel. Staff were very friendly & helpful. This was our first trip to Edmonton and they provided great dining suggestions and helped us navigate the city. Some hotels in Edmonton are expensive. But, this hotel is reasonably priced. We were very comfortable in the room. They have the BEST service, and that is what specifically made my visit absolutely over the top great. I would give them 10 stars if I could to be honest. Will definitely come back.

We stayed here because we had no choice, there was absolutely no other rooms available in the city of Edmonton, we used our own blankets and pillows that we had in our vehicle, I never removed my shoes including in the shower and can't imagine how every piece of furniture and bedding could be covered in burn marks and holes from smoking. Unless you are desperate like we were don't bother! In fairness to the hotel clerk he did ask us prior to paying if we wanted to see the room.
