Aspery Hotel

What can I say! Found this gem on the first night here and visited 4 out of 5 nights. Could not pass it by. The food is to die for, the service is top notch and the staff are outstanding. Situated across from a 5 star hotel, you may be tempted to pass by but please don’t. This eatery is outstanding. Shrimp cakes, full cooked fish, all done with exceptional Thai spices. The menu is endless and even caters for western tastes

Everything was good. 15 minutes walk to bar area.beach is close.

The pool had clearly not been cleaned ypu could see dead skin and hairs floating in it (not just a little bit) we were put in building two so if you wanted to use the pool you had to leave the building, walk down the street and then get the lift to the top florr in building one. The linens were stained, the fridge leaked water all over thw floor. Good location to walk to things.

For the price you pay the room is decent and has a nice restaurant that does cocktails.

Stayed in an older part of the property that was seperate from the rest of the hotel. It was clean, quiet but fairly outdated. The toilet had issues making weird sounds, the lights didn’t work properly. It was in walking distance to a lot of places.

The property is in a great location. It's clean and tidy. A little older style but great staff. The beach is at the end of the road. Plenty of shopping and restaurants are walkable. Would definitely stay at the Aspery again.

Unfortunately we stayed with my wife in this terrible, disgusting, not hygienic, stinking hotel. By the pictures the hotel looks cool on booking.com but after staying, living and seeing things in reality in this hotel with one word terrible and not hygienic. The hotel itself and the rooms are not in good condition. Maybe it was a hotel when it was built because of its location. Not any more. The people at the reception are not kind, not helpful and sullen. The swimming pool is a source of bacteria. They never clean it. And with one time swimming in this pool I got ear infection, suffered of infection and pain in my ears for days and had to go to the doctor. The bed sheet and the towels they serve are dirty, thorn. Never recommend this hotel.Pay a little bit more and stay in a better hotel.Especially in Holiday in Express or a little bit more than that stay in Holiday in Hotel.

I had a very bad experience. I booked a hotel at Aspery. I had been traveling for hours. I was tired from traveling. When I got there, I sat at the counter and an elderly woman was very rude and told me to go sit somewhere else. I was confused why I couldn't sit there. I just noticed that she was selling tours. I thought to myself that she was not suitable for the sales job because she did not care about customers and was very rude. Then I went to check in with the receptionist. They welcomed me very well and spoke to me very well. They gave me a good room and the hotel is in a good location. I will definitely come back here again but I hope next time there will be no more of that woman selling tours at your hotel.
