Fabulous service and perfectly located apartment. Close to beach and shops. Sue and Michelle and fantastic to deal with. Love this place. Will be back.

Our apartment was very clean, comfortable, spacious and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxed and enjoyable holiday. There is a lovely pool and garden area and Verandahs is only a few minutes' walk from the beach and the main shopping and restaurant strip on Macrossan Street. Very reasonably priced, especially considering its perfect location. Our host, Sue was amazing - nothing was too much trouble and she went out of her way to accommodate our every need, and much more. We were a group of 4 adults, but would highly recommend Verandahs to anyone looking for quality accommodation. Thank you Sue for a wonderful holiday - we hope to be back again very soon!

Had a delightful time at Verandahs where Sue and Greg treated us like family. Knowing we were celebrating a milestone anniversary, they did some special things for us too which made it such a delightful stay. Definitely recommend to others looking for a relaxing holiday in a wonderful apartment

The Vernadahs is stunning apartment complex in the heart of Port Douglas. The apartments are spacaious and well-equipped with everything you need. The grounds and pool area are an oasis from the tropical heat. Sue is a delight to deal she makes you feel welcomed.

Sue, Michelle and Bec are awesome hosts and so knowledge about tours and facilities in the area. The room we stayed in was excellent, quiet and had all the features and utensils you’d need for a good stay. All rooms air conditioned, essential in the tropics. Our only negative was Austar pay TV not working, but takes a while to get that fixed due to remote location of the town. All in all, a great place to stay and I’d go back without hesitation

The Verandahs apartment was very comfortable and had all the amenities we wanted. It was close to shops, restaurants, bars, wharf, and beach. Pool was great also! Michelle was awesome! She booked our Daintree trip and our transportation to and from Cain’s airport. She had great restaurant suggestions and was very helpful with all our needs. I would definitely recommend The Verandahs!!

It was a great place to stay - handy for the beach and the main street and even the marina. The staff were lovely and had some good recommendations for eating places. The pool was also good although we didn't try the BBQ at the pool or the apartment. A great stay.

Verandahs was a comfortable jumping off spot for exploring the Daintree and Mosman Gorge areas. The unit was spacious and had everything we needed. We especially liked the deck and electric grill overlooking the pool. There is free underground parking near the unit. It is a short walk to restaurants, shops and grocery as well as beaches and parks. I didn't care for the glass panel from the master bedroom into the master bathroom - I like more privacy - but the baths were both spacious and comfortable. The only other odd thing is that the master bedroom in our unit overlooked the deck of a different unit. We never saw anyone out there but we felt like we need to keep our window shades closed, just in case.

Great location. Excellent, friendly and very helpful staff. Above average clean room and excellent facilities. It felt just like home away from home. Perfect short and long term relaxation place.

Small enough to feel like a home away from home, very clean, very well equipped kitchen, staff/management friendly and helpful, pool area relaxing and well maintained. Would have no hesitation recommending this place, also very conveniently located in the heart of Port Douglas township, walking distance to pretty much everything.
