Silverstream Retreat

I attended a wedding here in the weekend and i must say i was very impressed by this venue, The Staff were helpful the wedding set up was beautiful The food was divine i was so happy with the vego optiond avail with the buffet those salads were to die for Facilities ✔️ Scenery✔️ Serenity✔️ Cleanliness✔️ 5 Stars hope to get back soon.

OLD AND WORN OUT.... VERY REMOTE LOCATION AND EXPENSIVE TO GET HERE VIA TAXI.

Firstly I was looking for a place to stay in Wellington central, but then 2 things changed my mind: price and quiet. This place had both. The room itself was excellent and felt like a rustic cabin that one could find on a hillside mountain (from the inside at least). The bed was comfortable and I had the amenities I needed for a one night stay. I was in a room at the end of a row of rooms, meaning I had a large wooded area outside my window. There was no noise all night which provided me with an amazing sleep. There seems to be a few different types of rooms, but I was more than happy with mine. The only issue I could see if it was raining, there would be a little bit of uncovered space outside my door, so getting to the car could be a bit wet - but that's a tiny thing. Check in and check out was easy and quick.

Very expensive. No food available at the retreat. Wifi not good

Would have liked to see food outlet or cooking facilities in units.

It was a lovely room for the price. It was close th where we needed to stay

Had a couple issues like comming back to some one else sleeping in our appartment but the silver stream did the right thing and compensated us. Was a pretty good stay over all.

I loved everything about this Hotel as far as the staff is concerned everyone from the reception staff and the cleaning staff to the maintenance staff were all hospitable and very respectful they are making me and my daughter feel at home which is what you want when you are away from home thank you Silverstream retreat my daughter wishes we lived here now so thank you.

Wow what amazing venue we had our wedding couldn’t fault anything the service was amazing, staff were all friendly and very attentive the food was wow amazing. honeymoon suite was perfect. would highly recommend this place.

We stayed here for a Marriage Encounter course and the Stonewall Studio room we had was absolutely lovely. A lovely bed, and a beautifully appointed bathroom. The other facilities in the Stonewall Lodge were really good too - great for groups. Highly recommended.
