"Wunderbares Hotel, perfekt für die Erkundung von Oxford"

Ein wunderschönes Hotel mit englischen Flair. Originelle Zimmer, sehr freundliches Personal und sehr gutes Essen. Besonders das Frühstücksbufet hat uns gefallen udn die hezrliche Betreuung von Wendy. Mit dem Bus kommt man sehr bequem in die Altstadt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Alles war sehr schön.

"Very pleasant and convenient but wouldn’t eat in restaurant agai."

It was very convenient for our visit to Oxford. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We didn’t like the fact that dogs were allowed in the restaurant. There were three this morning at breakfast & one was even barking! People were stroking dogs and then going to the buffet for breakfast. Not very hygienic!! If they had been guide/ assistant dogs this would have been fine.

"I have stayed at Hawkwell House many times before and keep coming back."

Room excellent value; breakfast great with friendly helpful staff; location excellent tranquil leafy spot ideal for exploring the lovely old village of Iffley and with good transport links to the city.

I found one pillow a bit too low (Hubby kept waking me - saying that I was snoring) while two pillows made neck ache.

Beautiful house in lovely garden. Easy access to bus for Oxford city centre

Ni WiFi when we arrived but it did come back eventually
