Henann Resort Alona Beach

If you’re looking for a luxury resort experience right on Alona Beach, this place is hard to beat. The location is unbeatable—you literally step out of the property and your feet are already on the sand. Of course, since it’s a public beach, it can get crowded during the day, but the resort itself feels like a private sanctuary once you step back inside. The highlight for me was the swimming pools. They’re stunning during the day, but at night, when the lights reflect off the water, the atmosphere becomes magical—it almost feels like being inside a tropical movie scene. The pools are spacious enough for both relaxing and swimming laps, and they create a great alternative if the beach gets too busy. Our room was spacious, modern, and very clean. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed that ensured a good night’s sleep. The design is simple but elegant, which makes it easy to settle in and feel at home. Service was excellent—professional, polite, and always attentive without being overbearing. The staff were quick to respond to any requests and seemed genuinely happy to make our stay pleasant. The breakfast buffet deserves special mention. It’s huge, with a wide variety of choices from local Filipino dishes to international favorites. Each morning felt like a different dining experience because of the number of options available. high-quality resort, this is one of the best choices on Alona Beach.

They have infinite pools, no chlorine use, nice clean beach line as well. Food serve at buffet’s were delicious lots of varieties and different dish everyday. The hotel is well maintained clean, safe very strict with visitors however policies were not properly explained so there was a bit of confusion. Parking is spacious. Everything is over priced. This hotel is away from the city it’s about 30 mins however there are vehicles you can use to travel however they’re overpriced as well. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel the price is not worth the stay.

Love the breakfast buffet!

First time in Panglao, Bohol Island. My friends recommended Henann resort due to their exceptional level of high quality services and hospitality. And they were right. From the moment I arrived, my cousin and I were greeted, offered a welcome drink, and check-in staff were detailed and accommodating. Our room was upgraded to two beds, and the room was beautifully designed. The property itself is beautiful and each area is within reach. I love that breakfast is included in my stay, and food was exceptional tasteful. The concierge service was very helpful, especially connected my cousin and I for a short tour of prominent tourist destinations, and transport services. I recommend Henann resort to anyone who may be visiting Panglao, Bohol for the 5 star service and I look forward to visiting and staying at Henann in the near future.

Excellent service Awesome staff

I recently booked a stay at Henann Resort Alona Beach and would like to share some feedback in the spirit of constructive improvement. First of all, the booking and reservation process has been smooth, and I truly appreciate the professional and courteous communication from the reservations team. The resort clearly invests in creating a welcoming atmosphere and in providing attentive service. However, I was honestly very surprised – and somewhat disappointed – to learn only after booking (and in response to my direct inquiry) that the Deluxe Rooms do not offer pool or garden views, but instead face either the parking lot, the roadside, or nearby residential areas. This fact is not mentioned anywhere in the official room description or promotional materials. From the perspective of a guest, especially one booking a “Deluxe Room,” this feels highly misleading. One naturally associates the term “Deluxe” with an enhanced quality of stay, including a pleasant outlook. To then be informed the view is toward a parking lot or a street is simply not what most travelers would reasonably expect. Of course, I understand that room categories differ and that not every room can have a premium view. But what is indefensible from a guest’s perspective is the absence of transparent information in the booking description. Guests should at least be made aware that this room type does include a look to the parking lot ore the roadside and not a look to the pool or garden side, so they can make an informed decision at the time of booking. This would avoid unnecessary disappointment before or upon arrival and would reflect a fair and honest approach to hospitality. I am writing this review with goodwill and in recognition of the resort’s many strengths. Henann is clearly a highly regarded property, and I am sure the experience in other room categories will be excellent. But I sincerely hope that the management will take this feedback seriously and revise the description of the Deluxe Rooms to include a clear statement about the view to the parking lot ore the roadside. Transparent communication is a core part of guest satisfaction and long-term trust. I look forward to my stay and to experiencing all the other amenities Henann Resort has to offer.

Absurd experience! Staff are very inconsiderate and unhelpful. My cousin booked multiple rooms including alona building. Our booking was different, we were checked in at Tawala. All bookings was under my cousins name and we were informed that my cousin should stay with us because its under her name??? They also told us upon check in that if my cousin won’t stay with us, she should contact agoda to change the booking name??? What the hell?? Where’s the logic? Lol haha so just to make the check in quick my cousin just agreed to stay with us even if she has another booking on the other building which is alona. By the way room is good for 3, me my sister and my mom will be the 3rd person. Fast forward on the 2nd day we had our breakfast, im with my parents so basically we are 3. There was no any problem at all on that day. The same day my parents need to catch a boat going back to cebu. So its just me and my sister in the room. We have decided to contact our cousin to stay with us since we were just two in the room and the booking is good for 3. Fast forward to the last day. We had our breakfast and suddenly while having breakfast the staff approached us saying that the 3rd person will be charge since the actual guest/ my cousin who booked the reservation was not one who took the breakfast!!! Ohmygoodness really??! I just agreed to pay so that we can continue our breakfast in peace. During check out time, my sister received a call from the front desk saying that they will charge the 3rd person for staying overnight and not informing them that he will stay. I understand that we had a lapse of not informing them. But we already explained the situation and let them understand that whats the difference?? Whats the point?? We paid the room good for 3 but they are insisting to charge the 3rd personn because we did not inform them??? So inconsiderate and insufficient. We also told them that we work as a front desk in a different hotel but all they say is “were just following our policy” hahahaha without even weighing the situation and not thinking the convenience of their guests., no solution at all. Thats just really absurd and frustrating dealing with people who don’t understand. Anyways, definitely will not be back. Also team leader who dealt with us was very unhelpful and no sense at all.

The best in early check in and the staff Alona is very accommodating. We will recommend to friends and family. The view from the room of the pool is beautiful. We enjoy our 4 days stay in this hotel

The staff and employees were very accommodating, especially since we were a large group. They made sure all our needs were met.

Buffet Breakfast is beyond expectation. Amenities are wonderful. Staff Service is world class. Highly recommended!
