Henann Resort Alona Beach

We had a wonderful experience dining at the Coral Cafe due in large part the the excellent service of August Raymond Conon who was not only very attentive but also very informative relative to the food selections. Raymond was always welcoming and inviting making our experience that much more pleasant. A job well done!

We stayed in a Pool Villa, and it was a fantastic experience. The room was incredibly spacious with a gated entrance, offering privacy and exclusivity—only villa guests have access to this area. It was peaceful and quiet throughout our stay. We were in Villa 2, conveniently located near Christina’s Premier Lounge, where we enjoyed all-day access to drinks and nibbles. It was also close to the adults-only pool, one of three pools on the property. The hotel is just off the main road, surrounded by shops, restaurants, and massage places. Despite the central location, our room was completely quiet with no road noise. **Breakfast** offered a good variety, including Korean, Filipino, and Western options. Our room also came with a **complimentary mini-bar**, restocked daily, along with bottled water. One of the highlights was the **beach pool**, which stays open until midnight—perfect for a relaxing night swim. The resort sits right on **Alona Beach**, a beautiful white-sand beach with calm waters. We were able to snorkel directly from the shore and enjoyed peaceful walks along the beach, which is lined with bars and restaurants. We also appreciated the **resort’s security**, including a cordoned-off beach lounge area that kept non-guests and street vendors from disturbing our relaxation. **Great stay, excellent location—highly recommended!**

We booked our stay immediately after a recommendation from my sister in law. After visiting last year in June, they highly recommended Henann Resort Alona Beach. I am glad I listened because I would have regretted if I stayed anywhere else in Panglao. The attention to detail here from communicating that our flight was delayed was seamless. My wife and I were picked up at the airport and as soon as we got in our van we were given a bottle of water each to quench our thirst. Check in was quick while given detailed information on what the resort offered and what exclusive access we had since we booked a Junior suite which allowed us unlimited golf cart access to get shuttled throughout the resort. It also gave us Excecutive lounge access throughout our stay. My sister in law also highly recommended a massage package at Kai. My wife and I was able to book a couple massage during our stay. I highly recommend booking one during your stay as well. We truly enjoyed our experience at Kai. One of the other things my sister in law noted was how awesome their breakfast buffet was. I will be first to admit, the breakfast selection and options are tremendous and worth every penny for what you paid for your stay. Breakfast was already included for our stay. I wanted to personally mention someone that made breakfast truly special. Raymond Mascarinas Conson took care of me every morning that I had breakfast. His attentiveness and attention to detail ensured that my breakfast time would be enjoyable. He is a true example of what the Boholano and Filipino hospitality is synonymous for. It was almost as if Raymond exactly what I needed and would recommend things that I would have never thought of getting. When having breakfast, I highly recommend to be seated in his section. You won’t regret it.

Excellent property with varied amenities! Great room fixtures! 3 wonderful and well maintained huge pools! Pretty and clean white sand beach with clear water. Very friendly and accommodating staff! Super buffet breakfast with tons of choices! Overall, a 5 star resort!

The best hotel by far, staff are absolutely amazing and can’t do enough for you, especially Joey in the Seabreeze cafe where you will take your breakfast along with the most hospitable ladies at the door, they remember your name and greet you with a pleasant smile daily. Do yourself a favour and stay here as I have and always will. Big thumbs up 👍

Another fantastic vacation spent here, big shoutout to Joey and the wonderful staff at the sea breeze cafe, greeted by the 2 ladies at the entrance, they all really know how a guest should be treated. I will stay again here because of them. Thanks guys and see you again.

Terrible place, tried to charge me for smoking in the room because an empty cigarette package was in the trash can from.night out at beach. Any way they can scam you they will..... this 3 star hotel claims to be 5. Outdated appliances with airconditioning that cant even get the room to temperature, mini fridges that do not work properly, beds that crack and squeak, and roaches in room. Balcony that fits 1 chair, or is so non private people walk by on a path in front of yoir room like a drive up motel. Pictures are truly decieving on the rooms they are outdated for sure.. it seems this place likes to overcharge for every basic service that if u walk 20 feet down the beach the service quality and price is better by far. The pools are nice but u could just walk in from the beach and not a sole would know because they truly have 0 security that pays attention as most of the guards just sleep on duty or watch women and stop no one. The breakfast is good however caters to korean tastes mostly. Drinks, are good but almost double the price for same atmosphere as the rest of the beach and similar quality. Ive been to.many resorts and was never disgusted like i was here..my advice, skip this has been place and book elsewhere, take a trike to alona or book a better resort down the beach that their pics might not look as great, they are real and definatly better in person. Not to mention if u throw away an empty pack of smokes in your trash they wont try to charge u $400.

This an excellent place get away with your spouse or your entire family. The service is first class and the food is great! We look forward to staying there again!

Everything is slow in the Philippines. But this is not becoming for a 5 star resort. Half hour to check-in. What a waste of time. On top of that you only get the room for 20 hours (CI: 15:00 CO: 11:00). So now I only get 19 hours. At this price, do better Henann.

Have stayed in this property over the years.. One thing is consistent—money-making is first on their priority list. Service is probably 2nd (or 3rd).
