Boutique Hotel Luna Azul

Uns hat an der Unterkunft Luna Azul alles gefallen und wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist eine Oase der Ruhe mit einem fantastischen Pool und einen schönen Blick zum Ozean. Unser Bungalow war super ausgestattet und hat keinen Wunsch offen gelassen. Inklusive angenehmer Klimanalage und Mückennetzen am Fenster. Die Terrasse mit Blick in den Dschungel und die open air Dusche waren fantastisch. Wir haben auch sehr viele Tiere im Garten der Unterkunft gesehen. Brüllaffen, Kolibris etc. Das Highlight war für uns der Besuch der Playa Ostional mit den Schildkröten. Wir haben die Abend- und die Morgentour gemacht und haben sehr, sehr viele Schildkröten gesehen. Sowohl bei der Eiablage, bei der Rückkehr ins Meer und auch kleine Schildkröten beim schlüpfen. Ein absolutes Highlight!!!! Die Unterkunft hat das für uns organisiert und der Strand ist nur 4 km entfernt. Perfekt, wenn man um 4:45 morgens da sein muss!

La ubicación, la tranquilidad, la piscina, los animales que vimos, lo limpio que estaba todo, el desayuno aunque repetitivo muy rico y la comida y cena las dos ocasiones que comimos allí muy rica, los cócteles muy buenos también

Nada que decir

Staff were accommodating, friendly, and helpful. Pool was clean and chlorinated. Room was peaceful, with air conditioning, an outdoor shower, and a nice balcony. Staff arranged a sea turtle tour with a local guide (Gilberth), who was great.

Traumhaft. Schön gelegen. Manchmal kann man die Affen brüllen hören. Auch sonst gibt es viele Tiere überall. Vögel, Echsen, Frösche, Libellen. Inmitten der Natur. Ein herrlicher Pool, mit Blick auf das Meer. Frühstück direkt am Pool, mit ebenso herrlichem Blick. Reichliche Auswahl zum Frühstück und immer nettes Personal. Auf Sonderwünsche wird immer eingegangen. Wenn zu spät in der Nacht kommt, gibt es eine Security, die das Tor öffnet oder auch mal aus dem gut gefüllten Kühlschrank bedient. Was man dann am nächsten Tag bezahlen kann. Rundum zufrieden. Vielen Dank an das ganze Hotel. Es war herrlich.

We stayed 6 nights at the Luna Azul. It‘s a magical place. Its located in the forest with a view over the ocan. We could see monkeys, iguanas and even a coati. There are so many birds and butterflys. The bungalows are very comfortable and the outsideshower added the special touch. The staff was very friendly and helped us organising tours. The restaurant is delicius and we enjoyed the large breakfast.

Great view, staff and room. I have given 5 star reviews to others but this is the place I would come back to on my next trip.

Nice spot, great service and excellent food.

No hair dryer or coffee maker in room. The web site said that these were items that were to be in the rooms. The outdoor shower while nice wasn’t the best because of the bugs and almost non existent hot water, but I guess that Costa Rica. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent.
