Oban Hotel

I loved! When I started reading the comments I thought I'd have a bad surprise. But I had a very nice comfortable bedroom with a big bed and nice shower. I was great!

I'd like to had some place to put the soap during the shower

Great location! Beautiful view from the room. Comfortable bed. Easy check-in.

Don't bother to order the breakfast. Ended up leaving a day early.

There was .no reception or staff of any sort. The room was smelly and there was a generator or air conditioning unit or something on the roof below our window, which was really annoying

Yes, it's worn down, yes it doesn't have a bar etc, yes bathroom is small BUT it is still a v good price for what you get! Staff are very stretched I imagine but the gentleman I met was very welcoming and helpful. The locations is great. I had the double with seaview and balcony - great high ceilings and superb views! Floor to ceiling windows :) Very clean!

It really would only take 5 mins and a philips head screwdriver to move the thing that holds the shower to the hole that is already there a foot higher up - that way you can stand under the shower without having to hold it. Yes it is still totally worth staying and if I had a screwdriver I would have done it myself for me and the nexy guest. It's sad when a v simple this isn't done so hopefuly it will be done now but overall this place is lovely and a bargain and the gentleman who met me should be rewarded for his customer service.

BED BUGS - HORRIBLE - HAD TO LEAVE AS SOON AS WE SAW THEM & NO STAFF ON HAND AS ONLY ON SITE PART TIME

Good location. Ground floor room

Biggest concern was water seeping down the wall above our bed. It was odd there were no staff in the building except early in the morning. All contact had to been done on a Ring doorbell device in the lobby. Glass shelf in bathroom hanging off the wall at an angle making it impossible to use.
