Over all a very positive impression. Fresh villa. Can install bluetooth loudspeakers if anything. Nice and quiet place. Breakfast is continental, very tasty and has mostly everything. Could offer a fruitjuicebar as well, if anything. Friendly, smiling and proffesionall staff everywhere. We will specially mention Alma at the breakfast and restaurant. She had an eye on everything and everyone and always gave the little extra. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Last year Beyond had major renovations and many things are revamped. Villas are ok, but AirCon is a bit tricky to adjust. Wifi is not the fastest but it worked somewhat ok. You are in vacation and time of from Social media is good idea. Breakfast was okay and Alma was so gentle and sweet. Nature have done his renovation in beach area too, but still sand bottom is smooth. Water was really warm and pool temperatures almost the same. Biggest surprise was excellent new menus is beach restaurant. Lot of choices and portion's are big enough for bigger size traveler's. Lounge chairs are reserved hours beforehand and that has bad habit every yearly. Same way certain tourist make lounge chair reservations in early hours in many beach destinations. Everyone wants the prime spot in the beach. But you get your shady place on the sides of the area. Resort have overbooking problem every year and you might offered to stay another nearby resort for couple of days with very good offer. We had that situation and we get All Inclusive offer for 6 nights and we stayed 2 nights elsewhere and 4 nights in Beyond. We are flexible traveler's and that was just an experience. Few years back same overbooking situation happened in another Pak Weep beach area and we sent to 5* Pulman Khao Lak with All inclusive deal., not that bad. Beyond reservation team organized everything to our satisfaction this year.

This was our 7th visit to Beyond resort, each time we visit we can't believe that it can get get better than the previous visit, but yet again this year was even better, the improvements & upgrades to the resort are fantastic, all the staff are the most pleasant & friendly we have ever come across in our 17 years of Thailand travel, a special shout to Sabi at the beach bar, he was brilliant. We choose this resort each year due to its "Adults Only" policy, although I believe this might be changing....please keep this beautiful resort just the way it is, its perfect in everyway, we will be back again in 2027....see you there

The place is absolutely beautiful, the beach, the pool, and the food were all amazing. We loved everything. We are a group of 3 from Germany, and our experience here was wonderful, something we would gladly come back to again and again. The food at the beach restaurant was delicious, and special thanks to Guiana for assisting the three of us. We had many questions, and she answered all of them kindly and patiently. She has such a lovely smile, and even with all our requests, she was always willing to help us (we’re old mothers already). When we arrived at the beach resto, she even remembered the type of wine we usually ordered, which made us feel very special. Please continue having staff like this—very accommodating and always ready to help. The spa and pool area were also excellent and very relaxing. We can’t wait to come back.

Relaxing, Beautiful, accommodating and peaceful! The villa was spacious and clean, we enjoyed the breakfast buffet each day thoroughly, otherwise the food was just average but had plenty of options. The staff was very kind and communicated clearly. Our only surprise and slight disappointment was the number of smokers and smoking area being near the pool and beach restaurant. But we really enjoyed it overall despite it.

Well what do l think about our last 3 weeks at Beyond hotel. It certainly did not disappoint at all. From arrival to the day we left the service was absolutely fabulous . To name just 3 very special members of staff that went above and beyond to look after our group of 7 from the UK, Alma, Clarissa & Nom at the pool bar. It wouldn’t be fair to mention just those 3. All the waiting staff were exceptional We loved the food here, Al a carte & the buffet. Such a great variety of dishes. Drinks were all named drinks, all familiar varieties. Our room/ villa was enormous and always spotlessly clean. Sheets were changed , l think every other day. Breakfast, a good variety of food. One criticism. The cereals were not of good quality, but there were lots of other things to eat. Reception staff were very attentive at all times. Nothing was too much trouble. Sorry, no names, all were outstanding. Summary, would we all come again. Without a doubt YES. OH, one thing we found annoying. The French clientele were prioritised, the activities were for the French only. There was nothing for us activity wise

Whilst this hotel is in a stunning location, with beautiful apartments and incredible potential, we found a number of issues over our time. 1. Check In - Complicated and unnecessarily long. Following this, we were left to find our rooms in the dark, with no guidance or directions and no assistance with luggage. Disappointing after a long travel day and a bad start to an 11 day stay at the hotel. 2. Smoking - The smoking allowed at breakfast is off putting and disgusting, really unpleasant first thing in the morning. 3. Lack of Service - Staff are overall lacking in attentiveness and do not meet basic hospitality standards when it comes to service. Empty glasses and plates were left all day and overnight in cases, and staff never picked up empties when serving more drinks, unless they were asked to do so. Not hygienic in an outdoor, hot environment. Whilst some staff are friendly, the general lack of service really let them down. 4. Air Conditioning in Gym - Uncomfortable levels of heat in the gym which is a shame as the gym has good equipment and amenities, so this really lets it down. 5. Hotel Dining - Food at the bar is quite basic and overpriced, and is not taken away when finished unless you clean up the table yourself. Would not recommend when there are so many better options along the beach! 6. Company - During our stay, we encountered a French tour group who we found to be entitled, arrogant and intimidating. Several other reviews have mentioned this group, and so it seems to be a recurring issue which is not being resolved. It is hard to enjoy the beauty of the beach when the other guests have no regard for other families and their holidays. 7. Steak Restaurant - Rated No. 1 in Khao Lak, but we found it to be overpriced and below standard. Food was served differently to described on the menu, and oysters seemed frozen. Staff were unhappy to rectify the situation and this made it even more disappointing. This hotel really does have so much room to improve, but without the proper attention and details, it did not meet the expected standard. Whilst we would love to return to Khao Lak, without the necessary improvements this would not be the place we return to.

The place itself is beautiful, and the view is absolutely stunning. You can really see that most of the staff are working hard—especially the trainees, who appear younger and are wearing different uniforms. Their effort did not go unnoticed. However, during our visit at the beach restaurant, I observed a situation that was a bit disappointing. While many staff members, including the trainees, were clearly busy and attentive, there were two staff members (Tu and Fa) who seemed disengaged from work and were instead lingering around. It appeared that they were delegating tasks unnecessarily and exerting authority over the younger staff rather than helping out. This became noticeable when it took quite some time for our table to be cleaned, as they kept asking someone else to do it instead. That said, I would like to commend Guiana and Graham for their excellent service. They were very accommodating, attentive, and made sure guests were well taken care of. Overall, we still had a great experience and truly enjoyed our time here. The place itself is wonderful—only the noticeable lack of teamwork from a few staff members slightly affected our overall satisfaction.

This hotel is no longer adults only despite multiple websites marking it as so. I am laying here right now with screaming children running, dive bombing in the pools & splashing guests whilst shouting with seemingly no supervision. If you want relaxing & adults only this is NOT the place

The place was lovely, and the staff were very accommodating. The food at breakfast was great, especially the assistance from a trainee staff member named Guiana from the Philippines. She was very accommodating and always had a warm smile. I really enjoyed my stay at Ananea Beyond Khaolak and can’t wait to come back.
