Great position, almost opposite the Information Centre, free 24 hour parking in multi-storey carpark. It's a magnificent old hotel, from a time when Bendigo was a wealthy place. Beautiful staircase, great breakfast and great menu, marble-tiled bathroom, really comfy bed.

Being very old, there are little maintenance issues, like the door which needed a shove to open, curtain hooks need attaching, ageing carpets. But we love it

A bit tired, needs some tlc, common areas and hallways not too clean. Room very basic but was expecting better for the price range.
