Hotel Shamrock Bendigo

Bathroom excellent, room reasonable. In lieu of having to go sort out towels was given a breakfast voucher thank you.

No towels in room, pin code access is clumsy and frustrating. parts of the hotel are disconnected - ie. need to go outside and in again to get to the only staffed area at night. Needing a key to exit and enter at night time seems way out of date. Checkin via gaming lounge also not very customer friendly. Also the stair case could do with some maintenance. In short, baseline is great, but grand old hotel is in need of some love and care.

Large spacious room in an awesome location. We only stayed one night but had a nice relaxing time.

It was a Friday night and there was a bit of noise from the pub downstairs but we expected that, it is a traditional Aussie Hotel after all. There were very few powerpoints which made it inconvenient to charge devices but we got by.

More options could have been offered in the Breakfast menu.

You can’t park at door one hour meters. You have to park in multi story round corner 10 dollars for 24 hours

An overpowering carpet powder was left on a stain but not vacuumed up. I managed to get someone to vacuum it but the smell was unnecessarily fragrant. Toilet seat left up; I think cleaner was interrupted and didn't finish the room?
