Excellent location. Please offer vegan options as my choice was extremely limited.

Carpet was still damp the first two days.

Beautiful balcony, great size room, great for 2 couples as 2 separate bedrooms.

A microwave would be great for heat bags.

It was a great experience I even booked an extra night

Location and you can get a drink until late. 3.00 am. if you choose a good way to winde down after a long day.

We stayed here in 2018 at the start of a renovation as part of our effort to find the grave of my wife's grandfather - a WW1 tunneller who dies shortly after the war. The 2 gents who own the hotel started us on the trail to find the grave. We did find it, and it now has an Australian War Graves headstone, and so we wanted to return and visit it. And stay at the hotel again. The min stay is 4 days, but we persevered, and found enough to do. The staff are excellent, and the room was a very good size, great bathroom. The initial allocation was too dark and dingy for 4 nights, but the front desk team were exceptional, and changed it for us. Good quality food in the restaurant, drinks good value - in terms of usual Australian prices, which are higher than Europe. If you want a classic Victorian-style hotel which retains much of the old atmosphere, then this is a great stay.

Perhaps clean the carpets? Particularly the one from ground floor to 1st floor?

The room was clean and large for a family room. Great value for money.

There was no soap in the secure soap dispenser pump at the bathroom basin. There was no shampoo in the secure shampoo dispenser in the shower.

The overall experience and location were very good however some of the staff appeared that they were did not care or unwilling to help/assist with our needs. The cleaning of the room needed to be constantly chased up and no change of sheets until day 8 of a 10 day stay. The Manager of the Hotel was very helpful at all times.

Cleaning of the Room/ refilling of the essentials - towels, tea/coffee/milk.

The hotel is in close proximity to the train station and centred in town.
