Grand Palladium Colonial Resort & Spa All Inclusive

My wife and I have had about 30 all-inclusive vacations in the Caribbean. The service at the Grand Palladium Kantenah resort was by far the best we ever had. Lobby bar, beach bar, guest services were all great! I have to give a shout out to Paublo, Silvia and Carolina at the El Grand Azul buffet. They went above and beyond to make our breakfast and lunches special. Thank you all for making our vacation an unforgettable trip!

Food was often served cold. If you aren’t vip then you dont get good access to shuttles or good service at any of the amenities. The bars served excellent drinks.

We had a great week! There were a few things with my room that I tried to ask them to fix, but they didn’t. Overall we had an amazing experience! The staff that served us Angel, Alberto, Ommar and Armando made our trip that much better! They provided exceptional service and were so kind. The beach was great, pool was fun and the shows were all entertaining and enjoyable.

Spa. It was wonderful. Totally enjoyed everything about the facility. Very quiet and serene. Value was worth it. I will definitely recommend this spa to everyone I know. I felt very at peace when entering.

We just returned from a 6 night stay at Grand Palladium Colonial. We booked this resort in the middle of December and then realized we could only eat at 4 ala carte restaurants. Luckily, we were able to book all 4 of the ala carte restaurants (shout out to Omar) who helped us make our reservations. The booking system is a MESS, the app does not work at all, my hubby had to get up early on Sunday morning and get in line for the reservations, not the perfect situation on vacation. We ate breakfast at the inside and outside buffet and we thought they had a nice selection of options for breakfast. The outside buffet on Sunday morning had a violinist playing, a very nice touch. Most days at lunch time, they were cooking poolside, a different selection each day. We ate at La Paisana, which was very good and had excellent service by Lorenzo. We ate at El Dorado and we also thought it was good and had excellent service from Daniel. We ate at La Adelita (Mexican), which we didn’t really care for, but service from Luis was excellent. Also, ate at the Sumptuori, the Japanese hibachi cooking show, it was just ok. Our room was a bit outdated,but everything was functional, the AC could have worked a bit better, but we survived. It was kept clean by Milogras everyday, we always received fresh towels and washcloths. The beach did have some seaweed on the days we were there, but we walked down a little on the beach and were about to find clear water. The pool was very nice and HUGE. We always were able to get beach towels and since there is no towel card at this resort, you could get as many towels as you wanted. Happy to report there is NO CHAIR GAME at this resort, chairs around the pool and on the beach were always available any time of the day. I want to stress this resort is very large and there is a lot of walking to and from the lobby, beach and restaurants. There is a tram system, which we did utilize a few times. The Colonial section had the most entertainment in the lobby and that is where most people congregated. We thought all staff were very helpful and courteous. There are “time-share” people lurking about, they did call our room early one morning to get us to come to a presentation, but we politely said we were not interested. We enjoyed our vacation, and if the reservation system could be fixed and the rooms updated, we would probably return….

Harry was fantastic, engaging bellman who made our stay even better. Warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful from arrival to departure. He made us feel welcomed and well cared for. A true asset to the hotel!
