"Peak Edge Hotel"

The hotel is in a lovely location and has the potential to be even better. Unfortunately, the room was missing basic items such as drinking water, and it felt as though some details hadn’t been fully thought through. The shower leaked badly and was extremely slippery when wet, which was quite concerning. We enjoyed our meal overall, but while the staff were professional, they didn’t seem particularly engaged with customers or enthusiastic about being there. I ordered my steak medium, but it arrived very rare. My husband, who ate most of it, said it was delicious but agreed it was definitely rare. When I mentioned this to the waitress, I was simply told that she would let the chef know, and that was the end of the interaction. For the prices being charged, the experience is missing that extra special touch in both service and ambiance. It’s a real shame, as I was genuinely looking forward to our visit. We do plan to return and hope that next time the experience will live up to our expectations.

Room was very comfortable and well equipped, the staff very friendly and helpful

We attended a wedding with 140 guests and maybe the food could have been a bit hotter but very difficult to achieve I imagine
