Keswick Country House Hotel

Very nice place to stay, great location for walks

Our room was a Superior room, very clean and spacious. The staff on Reception and in the dining room were friendly and helpful. The hotel has nice grounds and plenty of car parking. It is ideally situated for the town.

A superb hotel very close to Keswick. Beautifully appointed bedroom with comfortable beds. Food was amazing, nice bar staff, very helpful. Some of the waitresses in the main dining room could smile more & perhaps be taught silver service techniques but on the whole we had a fabulous time! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again

Great location, newly refurbished bedroom and en-suite. Friendly and efficient reception staff. Thoroughly recommended.

Breakfast was excellent but fried eggs were over cooked and not nice. Fried eggs should have a nice soft runny h yolk a minor point which I am sure can be easily sorted

Lovely room. Keswick Suite has seperate sitting area in tower with panoramic views to the western hills. Meals were very good and the service was excellent. Shout out to the staff in all areas of the hotel for their friendliness and attention.

Our stay at this hotel was truly exceptional. We were checked in by Stephanie who was so helpful. The junior suite offered a blend of elegance and comfort, with tasteful décor and expansive views across the landscaped grounds and surrounding countryside. The setting was tranquil and inspiring, providing a perfect retreat. Dining was a genuine highlight, with each dish crafted from locally sourced ingredients of outstanding quality. The menus reflected both creativity and a strong connection to the region, resulting in meals that were as memorable as they were delicious. The staff, especially Matilda, Ben and Levente embodied the highest standards of hospitality—professional, attentive, and unfailingly warm. Their thoughtful service elevated the entire experience, creating a stay that was both seamless and deeply enjoyable. This hotel strikes the perfect balance between luxury, authenticity, and heartfelt hospitality. Highly recommended and we will see again really soon Iain and Samantha Brodie

Internet very poor, staff great, helpful and polite, Breakfast very good, room was clean but needed updating

Beautiful building and grounds. Food was delicious - high quality. For breakfast, perhaps an alternative hot option to full English eg. Poached eggs, Benedict, Royale, Florentine ? However, the fruit, cereal, pastries and toast options were impressive. Dino g Room for both breakfast and dinner was stunning, with professional staff looking after us. Our room was very comfortable and quiet with superb views. Lots of comfy sofas around the bar area, so relaxing and private.

Parking was good and safe but on a couple of days our room wasn't made up.
