Keswick Country House Hotel

Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Booked a Junior Suite and the view of the mountains from the top floor was amazing - especially sunrise. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Great choice for buffet breakfast, lunch in the bar lounge and evening meal.

We stayed here for our mini-moon and couldn’t have picked a better place. From the moment we arrived, every member of staff was so friendly and attentive - nothing was too much trouble, and we really felt looked after. The location is perfect, just a short 5-minute stroll into the town centre, yet it’s wonderfully peaceful and quiet. The food was a highlight: breakfast set us up perfectly for the day, and both the restaurant and bar offered delicious meals with a relaxed atmosphere. We left feeling relaxed, happy, and very grateful for such a lovely stay. Highly recommended - we’d definitely love to come back.

Very nice stay all staff attentive and friendly. Parking was a bit of an issue when we arrived we had to park it staff car park initially, some hotel guests had parked using 2 spaces!

Lovely hotel. Staff obviously care - reception, cleaners, bar tenders, team of waiting staff - all very friendly and efficient. Junior suite is just amazing. Lovely old bay window. Lovely views of garden and hills. Breakfast and evening meals were fantastic (and I’m very picky as a nutritionist). Very relaxing overall because it felt like everything was taken care of. We’ll be back.

We had 3 nights here and can only describe it as excellent. The staff were excellent, attentive and most of all engaging , the bar staff were brilliant it was like chatting with old friends. Our room 119 was imacculate, huge bed and very comfy.

Cannot speak highly enough about this hotel. I don’t think we have ever stayed anywhere where the staff have been so friendly, helpful and professional, without exception. The dining room and bar areas are classy and relaxing. The grounds (rabbits included) are impressive. The buffet breakfast has been absolutely spot on for us and we have loved the meals in the evenings with plenty of choice and the food is presented beautifully. The location of the hotel is also perfect - just a few minutes from the town centre. We will most definitely be returning.
