Keswick Country House Hotel

Lovely grounds, staff great also the bar and lounge areas very clean and recently decorated

We had a two night stay at this hotel. Overall was very pleasant. But we did find that pillows were very firm. And all of seating was rather low, considering the average age of guest including ourselves this was a problem. Otherwise all good

Friendly, welcoming staff, comfortable newly refurbished rooms, excellent breakfast, surroundings beautiful, convenient location , cannot fault.

I upgraded the room. The room allocated had no resemblance to the pictures on the hotel website. I spoke with reception who simply said they were … Stock Photos… if this is the case provide more … accurate.. pictures of the room rather than misrepresent your hotel

Very large lounge and outside seating area. Also large FREE car park. Attentive staff.

Another excellent stay at the Keswick Country House Hotel. The breakfasts and evening meals are always great & the staff are unfailingly friendly and helpful.

Hugely impressed with the menu for dinner - both the range and quality.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in a junior suite. The hotel has a lot going for it, including the excellent location near the centre of the town with fine views of the mountains and countryside, the free parking, the uniformly friendly, helpful and polite staff at both reception and in the dining room, the high-quality evening meals, the very efficient housekeeping service, and the spacious room. Less impressive were the breakfasts which were not of a high quality-in fact more like a canteen with people bumping into each other at the food table, the small size of the bathroom and the relatively high cost of the stay, especially for a designated 3-star hotel. While it is true to say that the building needs some renovation, this really was not an issue for us. Overall, this was a good stay, and the hotel probably merits a grading of more than 3-star and approaching a 4-star standard. We would certainly recommend this hotel for those staying in Keswick, and we would stay here again in the future.
