Keswick Country House Hotel

Love this hotel. Just stayed this weekend 8th to 10th August 2025. 3rd visit this year. Location and surroundings first class. Hotel building and room great. Food brilliant. Staff friendly and professional . Great value for money. Strongly recommended. An old hotel with character.

we regularly visit this hotel and it surpassed all others when 25 of my family and friends joined me to celebrate my special birthday !! credit to Steph and her amazing team for making it so special , again food excellent and service from all her enthusiastic , friendly staff. Stayed here for two nights as part of a 14 person walking group. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and efficient, and made sure our stay was very enjoyable. The food was of excellent quality, served in a lovely dining room, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. I can highly recommend this hotel !

Everything went well. Mini fridge in the room would be great plus. Excellent service. We enjoyed our stay a lot and definitely would be back. Thank you.

Perfect find fir a few nights away with the bonus of parking in Keswick!! Hotel was beautiful and certainly above the ‘stars’ given. Bedrooms were massive and tastefully decorated. Breakfasts were amazing and plenty of it. Some decor dated bit the staff certainly made up for any of that. .. Kind, professional, knowledgable, engaging abd with a sense of humour. …. Certainly a credit to Hotel. Hotel has recently been modernised bit nit lost its Victorian charm. Definitely worth a visit

Lovely hotel. Beautiful room with a view of the mountains. Loved the bunny rabbits on the frony lawn and gardens. Nice breakfast

The staff were all very friendly and the room was clean, it was giving 1940 vibes. The garden is definitely a must see, it loops around the hotel and you will see some cute rabbits. The hotel is walking distance to the start of the hiking trail we wanted to do: latrigg.

A long established traditional hotel. The refurb of rooms and lounges is going very well and making it so homely and comfortable, especially considering the age and size of the Hotel. Our room was very good, breakfast excellent ( best hotel porridge), several small lounges make it a relaxing place to stay and spend time in during the day. Very reasonable price. Def superior hotel when compared to a national chain hotel nearby.
