Hotel Princesa Solar

A fabulous hotel, our only disappointment was we had room number 400 which was right in the corner opposite the wall with the mural! I would have asked to be changed but arrived at midnight and was desperate to sleep, apart from that the room was lovely…..as was most things about the hotel. Fabulous breakfast choice with sparkling wine, lovely sitting out areas and best of all no hogging sun beds and umbrellas at the crack of dawn! For me the hot tubs were not hot enough and looked pretty manky by the end of the day, not the fault of the hotel as in the mornings they were pretty clear. Staff were all very helpful and location was fine. Would I stay again……most definitely!

This hotel exceeded all our expectations by far! The staff is absolutely amazing, both at the reception and during breakfast. On our last morning, we had an early train to catch, and thanks to the wonderfully cheerful breakfast lady, we were even able to have breakfast a bit earlier! We also saw her occasionally at the reception. It was such a joy to watch her work—she was always so happy and friendly to everyone. The hotel itself was even better than in the pictures! We booked a junior suite and got a room on the top floor and at the corner (808). The sea views from our room were breathtaking. The hotel’s pool area was also really nice, and I especially enjoyed the hot tubs. In the evenings, you could play billiards and enjoy delicious drinks in the same area. 😊 Breakfast was very versatile, and they even brought additional treats to the table, from sparkling wine to pancakes. There was absolutely nothing I didn’t like about this hotel. I would come back in a heartbeat! ❤️

Exceptional hotel. Clean, comfortable, great location 2 minutes from the beach. The breakfast is very good with a wide selection of food and drinks to choose from. The pool and bar area have been newly renovated and is now amazing. Apartment from the pool there are 3 jacuzzi’s and plenty of shaded seats. What makes this hotel outstanding is the staff who are all really helpful, professional and friendly. I can’t wait to go back

We’ve spent 4 nights at this hotel and have had a fab time! All of the staff we met have been very friendly, and happy to help. The pool area is lovey and modern, and it was very quiet when we were there so no rush for sunbeds. The location is great - it’s a couple of streets off the front but an easy 5 minute walk down to the beach and lots of bars, cafes and restaurants. The beach itself is lovely, and we spent most of our days on it. The centre of Torremolinos is a 20 minute walk, and has lots of shops, and Benalmádena’s marina is 20 minutes in the other direction, with lovely restaurants. Breakfast was a real highlight - plenty of choice, including juicy melon and oranges, ham and cheese and lots of pastries and doughnuts. They also brought freshly made churros, pancakes and waffles to your table, plus a glass of cava! Our room was large and modern with a good shower. We were at the back, so our balcony looked on to a wall, but it had a mural which was very pretty, and it made the room private and shaded, which worked for us. Some of the other rooms had sea views and sun most of the day. We’ve had such a lovely few days, and will return!

Have now stayed here on 3 separate occasions in the last 2 years the most recent earlier this month. The rooms are modern and very clean and changed daily. The refurbished pool area is excellent with plenty of sun beds, hot tubs, a small pool and a bar providing drinks and snacks. In the morning breakfast is served until 11am and is good quantity despite being a little unorthodox. Lastly by far the best thing about the hotel is its management and team, nothing is too much trouble for them, they are the most committed hotel team I have come across in many years of staying in hotels mainly for business across the UK, and internationally on holiday, they are a credit to the industry and the area.

First time visiting the area and the hotel and staff are amazing. Nothing was too much bother. No problem getting a sunbed at any time of day. Breakfast was an absolute delight. Cava and freshly made churros.....heaven! The hotel is big enough to have decent facilities but small enough that youre not just a number .the personal touch very much in evidence

Second time at this fantastic hotel and loved the new updated pool area. We booked directly with the hotel and got free buffet breakfast. Breakfast was amazing sometimes for everyone. You are greeted at breakfast every morning by the lovely Carmen or Emanuel both so welcoming and friendly. Pool area bar is fantastic too..Good choice of food and drinks and the staff are excellent at their jobs and so friendly. Special mention to Elena and Molina who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. At reception you had the lovely Anna always there with a smile and so helpful. Rooms were cleaned everyday and the beds are one of the best we have ever slept in. 5 mind walk to the beach and plenty of bars and restaurants around. Looking forward to coming back next May.
