Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel, Chicago

The location was exceptional! It was also very clean. We loved the balcony and the views.

The beds weren’t as comfortable as I would have liked and you could hear the noise in the hallways. The indoor pool was small, mostly only for those who want to lap swim.

The location is perfect for a Chicago family vacation. It is close to Millennium Park, Navy Pier, and the Magnificent Mile. We were able to also walk to the museum campus, seeing Buckingham Fountain on the way. We enjoyed playing basketball in the indoor court. The indoor pool is small and focused on lap swimming. We didn’t have good weather for outdoor swimming, but the outdoor pool and area is nice. We stayed in a room with a balcony and enjoyed the beautiful view. I gave it a 4/5 rating because the beds weren’t the most comfortable and you could hear noise from the hallway very easily. Overall, would recommend this hotel and stay again.

I stayed this hotel for a conference in mid-June this year. I really liked The style of the place, had a lot of blue lighting (imagine that!) and I thought it looked pretty good. The room was fine, small cube refrigerator and a mini bar, nice lighting, pretty big, but I was disappointed that it didn't have a microwave. I believe I must have been upgraded because I had a balcony that overlooked one of their pools. The property had an indoor pool and an outdoor pool, and an indoor spa and an outdoor spa. The outdoor spa was down for maintenance. There was also an outdoor kiddie pool. They had a decent on-site bar, but it always seemed to be understaffed and difficult to get a drink. They also closed way too early, most of the conference goers I was with walked across the street to the Hyatt because their bar stayed open later. Disappointing that they wouldn't put on some extra help during a conference. I didn't eat dinner there, but they had a nice looking restaurant with the bar. We had a couple of appetizers while we were there, the giant pretzel was pretty good as we're the cheese curds. The conference rooms were very nice, nothing disappointing there. The catered food was very good, there were some outstanding hors d'oeuvres as well. Overall I was very pleased with my stay, really the only thing that was disappointing was the bar closing as early as it did.

Tara is the #1 wedding venue coordinator in the business! From the earliest stages of planning through the very end of our wedding weekend, Tara went above and beyond in every possible way. She has a true "yes, and" approach to venue coordination. Every idea, question, or request we brought to her was met with enthusiasm, solutions, and flawless execution. There were simply no misses. Many of our ideas were unique and outside the typical wedding playbook—cold towels passed out on the dance floor, desserts served on dessert carts, mini ice cream cones passed during the reception, and a customized amuse-bouche designed and passed as guests entered the ceremony. Not only did Tara help bring these ideas to life, but as an example, she even personally rolled every cold towel herself on the day of the wedding to ensure everything was perfect and ready (picture below!) On the wedding day, whenever we called or texted, Tara answered immediately and provided whatever help was needed. Her ability to juggle countless moving pieces, vendors, timelines, and requests from multiple people simultaneously is truly remarkable. She somehow managed to be everywhere at once—making sure every detail was handled on her end while also ensuring every guest felt taken care of. She worked seamlessly alongside all of our vendors, helping everything run smoothly behind the scenes without us ever having to worry. The bridal suite and groomsmen suite were clean, organized, and fully stocked with everything we needed upon arrival. These thoughtful touches made the day feel effortless and allowed us to focus on enjoying every moment. Nothing was forgotten, overlooked, or delayed. Her ability to multitask, prioritize, and execute is unmatched. What impressed us most was that Tara isn't just a coordinator—she's a leader, a people person, a delegator, and a do-er. She sees what needs to happen and simply gets it done, without hesitation and without needing to be asked twice. During the tasting, we spoke about a specific beer we wanted served at the wedding. Had we known this beer was not typical for the venue, we would have selected a different beer. But Tara kept this from us and instead, drove all the way to Indiana to procure the beer the day before the wedding. She even then left a few in my guest room upon check in (photo attached!) As if everything she did during the wedding weekend wasn't enough, she even came back the following day—on her day off—to help ensure the weekend ended as perfectly as it began. Because of Tara, our wedding never felt cookie-cutter. Every detail reflected our vision, our personalities, and our dream celebration. Her ability to deliver a seamless, memorable event made a lasting impact on our big day. She made us feel heard, supported, and genuinely cared for throughout the entire process. We are endlessly grateful for everything she did and cannot recommend her highly enough. Tara is truly one of a kind, and our wedding weekend would not have been the same without her. She deserves it all from the Radison Blu, they are truly so lucky to have her on the team!!

Everything about our stay was great!!! The location was perfect!!! The room with the high floor and the balcony was amazing!!! The view was beautiful!! The room was very clean. The staff was sooo friendly!! Highly recommend!!!

The property was absolutely gorgeous, so many things to do just at the hotel alone. Starbucks employees were amazing, all staff was great!

It was SO ECHO-Y. Anytime a door near us closed it sounded like a bomb went off. It was exceptionally loud during housekeeping hours with them going in and out of doors. I understand they were just doing their job totally not their fault, the doors are just really loud.
