Las Gaviotas Resort

Secure, indoor parking, friendly staff, although they couldnt speak english (used google transkate to converse), nice view of ocean, large pool, spacious 2 bedroom/2 bath suite with full kitchen. Close to restaurants and to the malecon. No breakfast included as indicated on website; no english speaking channels on tv. Quite noisy at night.

We like the spacious two bedroom two bath room. The weather was kind of cool, and the rooms don’t have any heat, so that was a bit of a challenge. There was an electric stove however, and we turned it on when we wanted to heat up the rooms. That location is great only half a block from the Malecon. The furnishings are a little out dated, but comfortable.

The hotel room sizes are good but bathrooms should be updated . The price stated that full breakfast is included and whether there is enough guests or not should have nothing to do with it !

The room was spacious and beautiful with a nice view of the bay from the balcony. The door to the hotel was locked and no-one was there when we arrived so we had to finds neighbors to call the owners. Also, there was no-one at the front desk most of the time since this was their off-season.

Property is one block from the Malecón which is great for walking (at night because of the day heat/sun) and has a garage parking lot. It is more of an Air bnb style as we were more on are own to leave and come back through the day. It was greta to have two rooms also! Gonzalo (owner) was always easy to contact and get suggestions and communication was very easy. Linda and Gonzalo helped connecting us with a wonderful tour of one the islands Espiritu Santo, Overall a great stay, a bit outdated but still the room had all that we needed for a great family vacation,

Gorgeous view, excellent location. But it was the courtyard by the pool breakfasts and sense of welcome that really made it great. Breakfasts cooked to order, lovely couple/owners/friendly staff all made us feel like we were home at the end of the day. They were very helpful arranging activities for our family as well. Highly recommended.

The property was in the middle of the lakefront business district of LaPaz. It was within easy walking distance of nearly all downtown activities. The only problem we had was the television did not work during our stay. It was good to have the kids up, out and about for a week without television. The internet was also spotty, but usable. Each morning the hotel cooked breakfast for us near the pool. This property has a bed and breakfast feel. The owners love to host their guests and it shows. I recommend this property to others.
