Bayview Resort Phi Phi Island - Beach Front Resort

In need of a huge overhall and staff training. After 6 weeks of travelling Thailand we found the staff here to be the most unfriendly, unhelpful and grumpy that we encountered on all our travels. Hospitality training is urgently needed! Whilst noone can deny what a great location thia place is in, sadly it is in need of huge maintenance to being back to any decent standard. Decor is old and tired, brown water comes from the taps, toilet didnt flush, cushions unwashed, mouldy sun recliners, ants in rooms, cleanliness poor... they even ran out of towels whilst we were there when i told reception there were no towels in our bathroom i was told they had run out! We had a delux room which was laughable, if the best rooms are this bad i dread to think what the others are like. The steps to rooms are a killer too in the extreme heat. The island itself is pure paradise and the location of the hotel is great, just a 5 min walk to the bars and restaurants yet out the way enough to be quiet. Really i would give the hotel just 1 star out of 5 yet i paid just over £500 for 3 nights on a paradise island so can i really complain?

Extremely run down property, filthy water system in the rooms, rude front desk.

The hotel was very unclean. The cleaning ladies were doing a horrible job when cleaning the rooms. They would leave the towels, covers and floor dirty. It was supposed to be a honeymoon trip and I was very disappointed. I booked 4 days but I stayed only 3 days because I couldn’t stand the hotel anymore. Would not recommend it at all!

Beautiful location!!! Good size rooms, with a very good AC, confortable beds. Very nice spot in the island.

The resort as such is very nice. However, the service is not up to the mark. First, they put us on a random villa, though we signed up for a sea villa. The staff at the reception were not very welcoming. But, the private beach, a restaurant by the beach, etc were amazing. It is quite a walk (uphill/downhill) from the pier.

This property is nothing like the pictures. This resort needs a lot of work to be done the food was the worst the rooms were very outdated and needs a lot of work. I was so disappointed when we arrive. To top it off the water has a horrible smell so you take a shower you smell like a rotten egg. Let me tell you about the swimming pool so Outdated when you wanna sit on a chair to relax you have to actually grab the mat yourself and place it on the chair or warning it has all kinds of bugs and they’re super dirty.

I enjoyed the property everyone was extremely nice! The only downfall is that it’s the furthest hotel from all the fun.
