Bayview Resort Phi Phi Island - Beach Front Resort

This resort is up a steep hill and not easily accessible..The pool was under renovation and closed therefore you had to walk up and down the hill for a swim. It is looking old and tired..in need of maintenance.

Not clean. Staff was nice. Definitely a bit of a climb up to where we were staying.

Loved the location right on the beach. I love phi phi. An amazing place. Hotel beautiful location.

Hello, Bay View is situated in one of the most beautiful location but the resort needs to consider discussing the level of house keeping with their staff please. I have concerns about the beds not made up properly, coffee cups being left in the bathroom, shower foam bath dispenser left empty upon arrival and balcony ashtray not being cleaned. My biggest reason for booking this resort was based on the pools "look and feel" as per the pictures. However the pool was closed for maintenance and i wish your site advised us prior to my booking. As per several reviews it appears that the pool area had issues for over 7 months. In addition the massage service at the pool was also not offered. The steep walk after a long day of shopping and exploring makes the walk to your room tedious. The views are amazing SO heavy maintenance is required to restore its beauty. Thank you to the restaurant staff, reception and most importantly the chef for superb food. #good value for low low budget holiday Much appreciated Leazil

Very far away from the main town. Shower water has a smell and is constantly brown, you never feel clean after a wash.

the grand deluxe villa we stayed in had an absolutely wonderful view and was worth the extra money we paid just for that. we had booked the entry level superior villa through Expedia for a fantastic price and the total price after the upgrade made the stay very good value for money. the villa was always cleaned well and the cleaners were actually the nicest staff in the resort. the facilities, including the pool, are not great and not ideally located. the resort is a long walk from the biz. this is good for those enjoying the exercise though a bit far for the less mobile. the island itself is absolutely wonderful, i would thoroughly recommend Phi Phi and the view point and fire show at Slinky's to anyone visiting the Krabi or Phuket areas.

A little bit too far from town, which makes walking in to town kind of a chore. The fact that you have to walk 100 feet across a sandy beach to get to a stone road means that both shoes and flip flops are not ideal. I recommend some of the little reef slippers they sell on the island. Koh Phi Phi itself seems suffering from tourist overload at the moment, and I'm not sure I'd go back. It is in no way a secluded island. The surrounding islands' nature attractions/monkey beaches are amazing, if you can somehow ignore the way your boat has to fight through the rest of the boat traffic. Overall, the Bay View Resort was fine, no real complaints. It could have been nicer, considering the price we paid. I suspect it is just standard tourist prices on the island.

The location is beautiful, but the facilities are a bit outdated. It seemed as though our villa had not been used in a while as the bathroom was unclean.

Amazing views, loccation, good service and nice restaurant by the beach. People were really nice and tried hard. Rustic, poor infrastrcture (bathroom flooded after every shower - drain was higher than low point in the middle of bathroom floor, TV cable did not work, rooms on steep hill - would be impossible to access for people with mobility limitations). Hard to communicate to reception by phone, no response to email.
