There was breakfast in the room from the previous guests. The Shower water overflowed and flooded the bathroom floor and went into the room below. To be fair to the staff they couldn't be more apologetic and we were given fruit in the room and half a bottle of Rose Champagne for our troubles. Apart from these two issues the room was excellent, the facilities overall are excellent and the staff were brilliant.

For an old property it is in very good condition. Carpets could do with freshening up & in the big hall there was quite a lot of crumbs & food on the floor where afternoon teas are served
