Corse Lawn House Hotel

A classic charming countryside hotel with lots of character! Stayed here for 2 nights with our dog and had a nice time. The food and service is brilliant and it’s great the way you can eat in the bar with your dog and have the same menu as in the main dining room. Rooms are a bit dated and could do with a makeover, but they are huge which is a positive!

Food was great, the best part of this hotel! The hotel has a great setting and the staff are brilliant. Great for dogs as well!

We would unreservedly recommend this hotel. We booked on a Travel Zoo deal and were very pleased. The package included a 2 course evening meal (with a 3rd course for an extra £12.95 pp) and a breakfast. All food was delicious and well presented, served by amiable, helpful staff. It is in a beautiful setting, loved the decor, especially in the dining room through to the bar. The only negative would be that our bedroom decor, although the bed very comfy, was a bit tired and the pictures over the bed had seen better days but the room itself was spacious and light with all the facilities we needed for our overnight stay (i.e drinks machine for coffee and tea etc - even a trouser press ) We were in 'Hartpury' Should the occasion arise we would not hesitate to book again.

The hotel is located in a very pleasant relatively rural yet convenient location, my room was spacious and well appointed, quiet and comfortable with all amenities and a very comfortable bed.

Had a lovely two day break at the Corse Lawn Hotel. Food was so delicious at evening meal and at breakfast. Staff very welcoming and looked after us.beautiful building would definitely recommend and will rerun soon. Beautiful location so peaceful.

Had an excellent stay here on a Travelzoo deal. Lovely welcome on arrival . Spacious bright room well decorated with lots of lovely touches. Bath robes, toiletries, still and sparking water, tea coffee making facilities etc. Both evening meal and breakfast were excellent. Quality food beautifully served by attentive staff. Will certainly return and recommend.

Just returned from our 3rd stay at Corse Lawn House Hotel -our first since its recent take over & refurbishment. Had an excellent stay - the new young chef is fab & both breakfast & evening meals were a delight. Planning to revisit in a few months time.

We booked this hotel as it was a lovely location and looked perfect for a weekend away. I booked requesting a ground floor room stating that I had some mobility problems and often needed to use a wheelchair. I was told by the General Manager that there was a room available. On arrival we were told that we had a first floor room which was totally unsuitable for my needs.. The receptionist did her best to accommodate us, including liaising with the General Manager. She was unfortunately unable to as the hotel was fully booked. We were extremely disappointed and after having a free drink left. At no time did the General Manager come to talk to us himself. Also I had booked a meal in the bar for 6.30 pm as we had our dog with us. Neither of these was noted on the booking in form.

Well kept lovely hotel, excellent food, first class service and staff.
