Staff were very friendly and welcoming We immediately felt very much at home They had time to speak to you and give the individual input you needed They were also very helpful in advising bus times and routes to and around the area A lovely and friendly family

The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed, and the breakfast was delicious. I especially appreciated that they had gluten-free bread and sausages available (I just had to give them a heads up the night before). It was a great experience and if our travels take us back to the Lake District, we'd definitely stay here again.

Our room was a twin one on the top floor. It was plenty big enough, good en suite facilities, very clean and a decent mattress. Breakfast was excellent and the owners friendly and attentive.

Very welcoming, excellent breakfast very clean. Pity our dog couldn't join us in the dining area when it's a dog friendly hotel. Although she was compensated with a sausage from the chef. Excellent overall.

Had a lovley stay. The owners were happy to help with local area and places to go. Access to plenty of walks which was the reason for our visit.

Everything fantastic. Very helpful owners and looking forward already to our next visit.

This B&B was made great by the owners Tommy and Rhona. When we left after three days of staying in their home we felt like we had made new friends. The English breakfast served every morning by both of them was wonderful and we could order all or part of it. The fruit bowl was the best we had at any B&B on our trip and Rhona's special mix to sprinkle on top was fabulous. Our room was clean and comfortable.

We were very well looked after

Room spotless, utensils spotless, comfortable bed, lovely curtains which didn't sag or open in the middle when you tried to close them. Cleaned every day of your stay. And the breakfasts - - - glorious. Nothing was too much trouble for mine hosts. Great people

Great location for exploring the Lakes, many excellent walks on the doorstep.
