The Clarendon Hotel

We stayed in the sunrise suite. Great room, amazing view. Very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Checking in and out was very easy.

A little annoying it didn’t have a restaurant or bar but there are plenty of options within close proximity to the hotel.

Beautiful location room clean and facilities fantastic above what expected, only downside was no lift and had disabled mother who struggled with stairs, but apart from that everything was wonderful

Stairs...on top floor with a disabled mother didn't even consider there wouldn't be a lift so that was a struggle as only knew no lift on day of arrival or we would've changed to bottom floor

Excellent location right in front of the beach, only around 5–6 minutes from the train station and in the heart of Deal. Check-in and check-out were very easy with the automated text system. The hotel is also dog friendly, which we really appreciated. The room was spacious enough and very well maintained and clean. Amenities were great too, including a microwave, plates, cutlery, and more than just the usual basics. The extra powerful air conditioning was especially important during the summer heatwave. TV also had plenty of free channels available.

The fridge did not seem to function very well and was not very cold. The duvet was also a bit too thick for hot summer weather — it would be great if thinner blankets were available during warmer months.

This place is our favourite weekend getaway. We stayed probably most of their rooms but, we just arrived home after we stayed in the Smugglers cabin- by far I think this room was my favourite! Absolutely loved it!

This is our 3 rd stay at the clarendon The rooms are spotless , good amenities , tea. Coffee bottle of water in the fridge and microwave in the room and fridge

Brilliant location!

At first look this hotel has strange labyrynthic corridoors with swirly carpets making you feel a little claustraphobic but the rooms were actually clean, bright modern and spacious making our time here very confortable. The staff couldnt be more helpful and accomodating and the seafront location was lovely , right by the Pier. The only thing missing was a conmunal lounge/ lobby where we could congregate ( we were a party of 12) or a restaurant for breakfast - we had to go outside but Deal had plenty to offer on that front and all very close to the hotel.
