The New Alexandra Hotel

The room was small, the shower had excessive damp the staff were rude when called to say I left my purse in the room and was treated with contempt, I know I left my purse in the room and even told staff where, I left it and was dismissed and the staff were rude, I had to call on numerous occasions some calls were not answered I was told the staff would check with cleaners, I had to chase this up the following day to be told the room was occupied and was even blamed for not taking my purse....would not recommend poor communication and rude!!

Staff friendly , efficient & knowledgeable. Great location, just off the seafront & near to town. Room clean. Excellent wifi.

Plumbing noisy when flushing the toilet! TV located @ right angles to beds so was awkward to watch!

Good location and a good price. The woman who helped me on arrival was friendly and professional. The bed was comfortable and the shower decent. Generally quiet and agreeable.

The hotel is a bit depressing and neglected. Fine traveling for an overnight or a couple days by yourself, but I wouldn't want to come here for a proper holiday.

Second stay here for myself . Staff are so welcoming and just naturally friendly as soon as you arrive . You know you book the right place .If you want to stay somewhere that is close to the front , great food and clean rooms .Clean bed sheets ,rooms , tea coffee milk etc .Great food at great prices .About three levels to the rooms I think .If you have difficulty with stairs mention this before booking so they can book the right room for you .Definitely will be back .
