Friendly and helpfull B & B

We have stayed here twice before so we know what we was getting. Wendy welcome us with open arms. when booking only this was room was free wendy offered to move to another room if we wanted to. The breakfast's are just amazing she does not skimp on anything at all. You are sure filled up. Wendy said if her booking where not showing for further stays to phone and see if she is open and try to get us booked in with any dates.

Lovely host and location, suited us perfectly

The Old Pier guest house was just perfect for a few days' stay in Plymouth. The position is quiet, our room was cosy (not spacious) and the breakfast was delicious.

We was staying at the Old Pier Guest House, and initially we were optimistic. When we arrived no one was there to greet us. After a dozen phone calls to the owner we was told our key was under a plant pot outside the frobt door. When we did finally get access to our room we was met with a really odd smell, the carpets were not cleaned, the bedding appeared to not be fresh and the roo had no bath (although in the advert it says there was a bath in the room).

Was locked when we arrived. Maid was very friendly and helpful. Did not realize breakfast is only between 7:30 and 8:30. Arrived late and owner just scowled and informed me rather curtly that breakfast was over. The property is ld and tired, but we really liked it.
