The landlady was extremely friendly and helpful. Always smiling. Breakfast was excellent and such a wide choice. Definitely stay there again as it’s only 100 yards to the sea front and walking distance to the town and the Barbican with loads of restaurants

Wendy is a super host. Very welcoming and friendly. She puts on a very filling wonderful breakfast in the mornings. The hotel, is cosy inviting, and clean. It is an old building which just gives it more appeal. It could do with a little updating but don’t let that put you off. Wi-Fi is freely accessible but can be a little intermittent at times. Paid parking is available outside the property although we chose to use the paid car park situated just around the corner from the property so that we wouldn’t have to move the car over weekend (you can pay. for a whole weekend, at £6 per day) The hotel is situated at the top of the Hoe, and witching easy walking distance of the Barbican and the city centre. Overall a wonderful stay at the old pier and we will be going back again.

Friendly host. Great breakfast. Very good location close to the water. Make sure if you travel by car you are not in resident parking bay. Have to pay for parking by App.

Warm freindly host wendy was helpfull with a five pound a day parking permits the place was warm clean and freindly brekfast was good we will stay again location is good on the hoe couple of mins and your on seafront we have freinds and family in plymouth and parking can be a nightmare even for locals so permit is a good idea this is a warm cosy freindly place its not a five star hotel if you want that book it but it is reasonbly well priced in a good location with a good brekfast and a lovley host who carnt do enough to help we are looking forward to going up again maybe to do some xmas shopping in plymouth as we live in cornwall its a nice break to see the family

Our stay at The Old Pier was simply delightful! Wendy, the owner, offered a welcoming and warm guesthouse and personally cooked up a delicious full breakfast each day. Close to the wonderful coastal walk, with many bistros overlooking the cliffs, The Old Pier is in a prime position for visitors to Plymouth. Highly recommended.

Great location Near to The Hoe. Good communication with the owner to collect the keys. Unbelievable breakfast included in the price. Will definitely use again.
