Easy to get to for our use

Stairs are steep at top but not a problem for us

Ein tolles Inn, ideal auch zum Aufenthalt vor oder nach der Kanalüberquerung. Wir hatten das Golden Room, so liebevoll eingerichtet und mit tollem Bad. Ein riesiges Zimmer mit allem was man sich wünscht. Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr gut und der Pub einladend. Sehr aufmerksames Personal !

The room was gorgeous, loved the original features. The bed was very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The games on the foyer were a nice touch and kept us entertained while we waited for the rain to stop!

A really small detail but more juice options at breakfast would have been lovely. One morning the bathroom smelt a bit damp, this got better after the cleaners had been and Reception were helpful and said they would check the extractor fan : )

Lovely breakfast and meal although the meal went cold rather quickly. Comfortable bed with all necessities'.

Perfect location, lots of parking and the staff were outstanding.

I recently stayed here and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. I particularly appreciated the comfortable bed, quiet atmosphere, and attention to detail throughout the property. The location was also very convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. Overall, The Ship Inn exceeded my expectations. The combination of outstanding service, clean and comfortable accommodations, and great amenities made for an enjoyable stay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free experience, and I would happily stay here again.

Beautiful place to stay.

The majority of the staff were very good. But unfortunately some of the younger staff were very inexperienced and did spoil our meals in the restaurant. Some training is all that is needed.
