From room number one, you can hear anyone coming up the stairs right through the doors and this can be quite annoying at times

I was staying to attend a wedding in the area. Location was good. Bed was comfy. Room clean and tidy. Staff very friendly and breakfast the next day was great. Nice relaxed atmosphere in the bar area.

Location for the family funeral the next day and we’d heard great things about the food hence the choice

It was very tired No food after 5pm - very outdated TV/SKY Bathroom door was warped and wouldn’t close Bedrooms around the bed and under inches of dust Poor tea and coffee offering in Room We booked our time slot for breakfast (8am) when we awoke from here was a notice on the door which was placed there late that the Inn was now closed until the following Wednesday so no breakfast for us ahead of an early family funeral
