Easy to find off the A7/A68 from Newcastle, lovely little pub, didnt eat at night as had tickets for the military tattoo but the breakfast was really tasty and beds comfy.Great location for transport/trains to Edinburgh 5mins by car and there is a bus you can get aswell.

Door didn't shut/fit on bathroom which seemed an easy fix by someone bit being a couple wasn't really a issue

"5 star service "

The hotel room was very clean and comfy and what i considered to be a massive bargain considering the price of hotels in edinburgh for the same night. The service was fantastic but breakfast was phenomenal to service and to food itself. I will be retur ing for my next trip to edinburgh. £120 for the night with breakfast for 2 people with two lattes and two teas. Phenomenal!!!

I really enjoyed my stay at the sun inn, it was comfortable and a good breakfast, only a 10 minute drive to the park and ride into Edinburgh which is what I did each day.

Can’t fault it, for the money paid, I was more than happy with my stay.

The staff were very friendly and when we asked for advice about buses and trains information was given.

No tea bags in our room. We did get some but when the room was cleaned next day, they were taken away!

"Book the suite!"

Would recommend staying in the suite, big comfy bed, bath tub in the room plus your own private terrace with hot tub and sauna! Sun trap in the morning too Clean and plenty of towels plus robes. Nice addition of the coffee machine. Staff really friendly and helpful when we had to arrive late after a wedding

Hot water in the room didn't work, had to have a cool shower. Breakfast was included and really good options but took an hour for the food to arrive. Not busy with tables but I assume understaffed in the kitchen
