Room was very cold on arrival but minor issue.

There was a wedding but to be honest it was absolutely fine ..

We have stayed at this hotel 3 times before and never had a complaint to make.

On this stay the room was freezing, i had to ask for a plug in heater as the heating was not on when we arrived. The bathroom was filthy, the bath hadn't been cleaned and once I cleaned the bath as I needed the toddler. When i had a bath the jets pumped pumped out a load of brown gunk so I had to get out. We went to bed to find the bed had been made but sheets were not fresh ones, coffee marks, hair and crumbs. Due to the toddler being asleep already on the sofa bed I couldn't have them change the bedding in the room so we did it, I am heavily pregnant and this was our last trip away before having the baby so this was not what I planned for. Photos of bath attached, no photos of bedding as it was dark but they were seen upon exit to meet the staff to hand over new ones. On the morning of departure I dealt with i believe the manager, it felt like he wasn't taking the situation or the amount of issues very seriously. He gifted us as an apology the meal charge, it was 2 basic mains and drinks £50. For having to clean a bath, not be able to then enjoy a bath, strip and make a bed that was not sufficient enough of a compensation for the let down of a stay. He commented it would of been cheaper to book direct and he wasn't willing to offer any discount on the booking and to take it up with booking.com. Which results in this feedback.

Food was very good.

There was no air conditioning in the room which was stuffy. Two fans were provided but these didn’t work to reduce the temperature.
