Collection Hotel Birmingham

Absolutely disgusting hotel. We found hairs in the bed, there was no housekeeping even though we stayed for 3 nights. There was a traveler family staying in the car park and hotel staff were allowing their young kids to run up and down the corridors intil 2am in the morning. The key card stopped working at least twice a day too. I understand its a cheap hotel, but i’d say spend a little more money and stay somewhere else, this hotel isn’t worth thinking about.

Very unclean, stains on carpet in room, bed side lights did not work, T.V did not work, chair in room very unsteady, also communal hall and lifts need cleaning.

Absolutely filthy, really run down. Sink was blocked, shower was just a trickle. Drawer handle missing and sharp screws left in. 1 towel for a room for 2, not sure where the robes stated in the description were either. The friend I was there with had a room with food under the bed. Try somewhere else.

Absolutely dreadful. Staff unhelpful, dont care and no customer service skills at all. Room filthy, scum under plug hole, rips in bedding and curtains and the carpet was really badly stained. What looked like to be a bogey stuck to the wall. NO RESTAURANT despite it being asvertised. No food here at all!! The corridors stank of cigarettes and weed. NEVER STAT HERE AGAIN!!

I was pleasantly surprised upon entry of my room. It was very spacious and well furnished for comfort. I had a great nights sleep. The bed was soooo comfortable 😌 😴. Nice clean bathroom with everything working. Very good for the price and I would stay again.

The service was was always available however staff weren’t eager to help. The room was shabby and uncomfortable, bathroom light was broken and the shower didn’t heat up. The bar had half a milk carton and a single bottle of red wine.

Felt like a bad hotel from the 80s. Full on fridge in the room not a mini bar. Carpet coming up and had patches where it had previously been lifted. The table was unfinished and you could see chip board. The bath had scratches everywhere on first glance it looked like hair. Its dark and dingy.
