Hotel Portillo Dolomites 1966'

Beautifully decorated, spacious and clean rooms with a lovely alpine, lodge feel. The amenities were excellent. Wonderful, clean spa with a steam, sauna, outdoor and indoor pool. Room was large and comfortable with a balcony that had a lovely view. Breakfast has excellent choice and the restaurant was also fantastic. Its family run which added an additional charm.

The small downside is it’s situated on the main road. But that didn’t really bother us. It was still fantastic and a brilliant location

Our second return to 1966. We are in love with this place. The people running the hotel and all the staff are just so friendly, attentive and professional. The facilities are amazing and the food at breakfast and dinner at the restaurant of great quality. The best choice in Val Gardena.

Me and my girlfriend spent 5 nights here after spending 2 weeks travelling Italy. We can honestly say this was the most welcoming, warm and comforting hotel we stayed in. The room was immaculate, the breakfast was amazing and most notably, the staff was so friendly everytime we walked in. We felt so personalised & really felt like we belonged there. We would recommend this to anyone and we’re already planning on coming back during the ski season.

Great hotel and the largest spa I’ve ever seen! It literally takes up an entire floor of the hotel We had a room in the top level in the newer building and the room was modern and very nice. Had these gorgeous glass barn doors

Couple minor things; Espresso machine in the rooms would be great Electric tea kettle in room would be nice. We used this in every other hotel we stayed in Longer breakfast window. It ends at 10am so if you go do anything in the morning early you have to rush back. We went to the weight lifting gym and were half an hour late for breakfast. They still accommodated us which was really nice

The hotel was very comfortable, great location for a summer holiday hiking or biking in the Val Gardena Dolomites and Alpe Di Suissi. The spa was great for relaxing after an exhausting day with indoor and outdoor pools.

The hotel only had standard bikes available for guests. They however have an agreement with an ebike rental shop closeby with a discount for hotel guests.
