Clean hotel in the center of town with a very friendly and helpful staff.

Great location, near to night market and Railway station. A lot of massage shops and convenient shops. There are some bus service to Bangkok and other places near the hotel. Can take Song Thaew service (few steps away) to Cicada Market which cost only 10 baht. A very convenient location. Will recommend to friends.

For the price, no complain. plenty of seafood stall around hotel. those going back to Bkk can book minivan directly opposite hotel for B$180.

I have stayed at Baan Manthana 3 times now over the past 3 years. It is a nice and quiet hotel and a good deal for the price paid.The rooms are simple and clean with hot water and air conditioning, television, and comfortable beds. Baan Mathana has a very good location which is right next to the night market and only a ten minute walk to the beach. It is in the heart of Hua Hin so it is also close to many shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and easy to get transportation to Cicada Market on weekends. Staff was helpful and friendly.

We enjoyed our 6 days The hotel is close to dozens of great eating spots and not far from the beach. The pool is clean and good for sun bathing, the room large, very clean and most efficient a/c. The entrance is underwhelming but staff most helpful and friendly

I stayed here for 2 nights in February. The location is great for both the beach (10 minutes walk) and the night market (2 mins walk). My room was clean, spacious and everything worked.

Stayed 2 nights. Found the room was okay, clean, bathroom shower was great. The location was about a 15 minute walk to the beach, 5 minutes to the night market. The pool was an added bonus.

I love the location of the place, very convenient and central. My room was in the new section so the furniture was probably new and the room recently renovated. I actually did not check out the pool so I have no idea about that. Wifi strength is pretty weak, sad to say, but good enough for email and whatsapp.

Baan Manthana is very accessible from the train station--no tuk-tuk necessary--and is located close to local nightlife. The room was pretty bare-bones, the mattress was quite hard, and the lights make that annoying buzz that they do in horror films. For the price, that's more or less to be expected. The wireless works well, and the balcony is large. I only stayed overnight in preparation for a different trip, and when my pick-up didn't show up, the staff helped me to call the office more than once and straighten out the matter. If you're on a budget, this hotel is a good option, but be sure to moderate your expectations accordingly.
