Baan Manthana Hotel

Me and my boyfriend stayed here 2 nights after arriving in Hua Hin, the location is good as it's only a 3 minute drive from the bus station, and a 2 minute walk from the night markets. The rooms are nice and clean and the shower was amazing, nice and hot and powerful. It is nothing like the pictures make out though as the pool is far smaller than on the pictures. Also the the staff do not speak very good English at all so it is pretty hard to communicate. It was however a nice stay and the beds were very comfy

Good location - close to everywhere we wanted to go - the. beach, the night market, the downtown area - all in all a very convenient place to stay.

No nonsense, clean and rather boring place - which is also reflected in the price. God place to sleep - but not to hang out og work. I would recommend this place for a night og two - but if your pay a bit more you can get one of the nice places down by the waterfront

Together with my next door neighbor, went on a 2 week, Thai golfing holiday. Lux hotel accommodation was not required as every day involved golf. And so it was that the Baan Manthana got a look in. This hotel has no restaurant (but plenty of cafe's etc up the road), no laundry (except for a guy virtually on the premises-cheap and efficient). no room service (but did we need it? nuh!). But there was a late nite 7/11 convenience store and ATM's 10 meters over the road, plus a nice little swimming pool at the back of the hotel,plus the usual hair dressers and massage services nearby. Add the Hua Hin Night Market with the bar district a short walk further on and you have cheap, convenient accommodation.

We had a good time with the hotel. It's located near to night market and shops, including 24-hour shop. One draw back is the counter staff is not friendly enough, especially when we asked them to open door for us in the midnight (as we left the only key in the room, and we didn't want to wake up the one in the room). We asked for additional key but with some reason, they refused to give us spare key.

Front desk staff weren't that friendly, but if we needed something, they took care of it efficiently. No restaurant on site, but plenty in the area. Europa Guesthouse's bakery is excellent. The All In Hua Hin restaurant has good food and beer selection, but service is slow.

It was horrible. First of all, the staff didn't even smile or acknowledge us that she is a staff and just sitting where she was. Very poor service. The room was very smelly and we paid 2200THB including tax which is not worth at all. It took 20 minutes to arrive to the beach. Only one good thing is hotel located near night market. I would not go there again and I would recommend my friends and family to avoid that hotel. Sorry to say that.
