Bartholomeus Klip Farmhouse at Elandsberg Nature Reserve

Excellent location on the Nature Reserve. Surrounding area is stunning with mountains as a backdrop and the nearby lake with lovely walking and cycling trails. The gardens are wonderfully manicured with lots of quiet areas as well as loungers to soak up the sun. The swimming pool is large and welcoming. Food is absolutely superb. I stayed in the Farmhouse where all meals were provided in the price and the culinary delicacies conjured up daily by the chef were fabulous. Big shout out to all the staff whose professionalism accompanied with a wonderful sense of humour was to be commended. They are a credit to the property.

Exceptional hotel with food that is simply out of this world. Location is quiet and calming with epic views. The food tops it off - best food we ate on our holiday. The staff are charming and thoughtful. It felt like coming home.

Can't fault it at all

Exceptionally lovely accommodation, very peaceful. Food quality excellent. Breakfasts were different, not your usual buffet fair and absolutely delicious. Again dinner was really good, a fixed menu but we didn’t have anything we didn’t thoroughly enjoy. The chefs do a really great job. Our trips out to view the reserve were very enjoyable, we hit a truly beautiful day so saw it at its best. Finally the staff couldn’t be faulted, what a team, they couldn’t do enough for us and everyone was so friendly and helpful
