Lovely friendly, helpful staff. Different places to sit downstairs. Good choice of drinks, snacks and meals. Easy to park, car park or local roads. Food was well presented and tasty. Good choice for breakfast.

Classic double rooms are quite small. Some more cramped than others. You need a car to stay here. Not an easy walk to Eastbourne front, and uphill coming back to hotel

I have already reviewed this as part of a separate stay but I loved its old world charm, the quality of the food and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff.

Small irritations such as the tv not working.

We have been several times it is very homely

It’s getting a bit dated and the bed was very uncomfortable 😔

Der Blick aus dem Zimmer aufs Meer konnte gefallen. Service und Lage waren gut, das Frühstück in Ordnung. Man konnte problemlos parken.

An zwei von drei Abenden war es durch verschiedene Veranstaltungen bis kurz nach 23 Uhr sehr laut. Das Haus scheint wenig schallisoliert, so dass die Geräuschkulisse schon sehr störend war.
