Hydro Hotel

I loved the views and conservatory.

I was disappointed with the breakfast. Not enough choice, the scrambled eggs were rubbery, and the sausages had very little meat in them.

Es ist very British, So wie es sein soll. Die Atmosphäre ist toll. Ruhiger, guter Services, Qualität entspricht einem sehr guten Standard.

Fabulous staff, great rooms and excellent location

The room was a little too hot even with the windows open, but everything else was great

The property has a good location and outdoor swimming pool.

The events team do not work weekends. The staff were not flexible with events and food choices. Despite booking an event and a room, the event was not booked. We were then told they could fit us in but one of us must have fish the other chicken. Poor service for the £65 per head. We declined and made other plans. Events team are poor.

It was like stepping back in time. Old world courtesy from the staff. Freshly cooked breakfasts. In fact, the lunches and breakfasts were first class and such good value for money. The surroundings were very elegant. And, the icing on the cake was that our dog was made so welcome.

Our room was small and very, very hot when we arrived. The windows didn't open to let enough air in. However, a fan was available which made it bearable. Also the tv didn't work. Aerial problem. A lovely man tried to fix it to no avail. But.....this did not spoil our stay. Would highly recommend this hotel.
