My best friend, me and my three kids all had an awesome time at Jaguar Reef Resort at Hopkins Belize. Everyone was nice, especially Larry "Sippy". He made sure that my friend and I were able to get fried snapper from the restaurant, "Raquel's". The seafood was on point and drinks at the resort were very good. The staff were very helpful for when I needed transportation to the local grocery store, and to purchase souvenirs. But the best was when the staff and the Paddle Restaurant assisted me with making sure that my twins were able to get a special birthday cake for turning 3. Overall, I would recommend this place to everyone for a family vacation

We spent our 2 week honeymoon at the Almond beach Resort @ Jaguar reef. In Hopkins Village, Belize. It's part of the Belize collection. The best thing about this place/our stay here was the people. The grounds were lovely, the food excellent but we truly have never experienced such a desire and willingness to satisfy whatever you want or need by the staff. They all made our time and memories there so beautiful ❤️ Special thank you's too; Julio, Tahita, Randolph, Tomas, Roselmina (Rosie), Jason - both of them, Jerry, Lucas, Larry, Gilberto, Brenda and all the house keepers who took care of us. The staff at this property was incredible- they learned me and my son’s name by day two of our stay- and they were on top of everything. The resort offers free bikes and kayaks, loved that. Food at the restaurant was good, ceviche at dock bar was outstanding. Overall, property and room were clean. Unexpected treat was the fire pit with s’mores for the kids nightly. Highly recommend staying here.

Amazing

This was a delightful find! Stayed the first week in June in a 2 bed/2 bath room with our family. The room was clean and well-maintained. The resort is very relaxing. It’s beautifully decorated! Nice amenities. We spent most of our time on the beach, by the pool and dock jumping. Don’t miss sunrise on the dock - perfect place in the morning. Fortunately it wasn’t too crowded. The staff made the experience exceptional. They were very attentive and friendly - from the restaurant staff to the grounds keepers. The bar tenders were welcoming and funny. There was a power outage in the Village that affected part of the resort. (It was beyond their control) The staff was extremely apologetic and kept us up to date on the situation. It’s helpful to know that you can’t charge to your room if you don’t have a credit card with raised numbers. They still use the old school credit card machine with carbon copies. None of our credit cards had raised numbers so we just had to pay out everything. Great location, beautiful beach, lovely people. We’ll be back!
