Amazing views in lovely garden above Kaikoura, but easy walk to town. Spotlessly clean spacious room. Good continental breakfast with fresh fruit etc and croissants.

"Rough Seas"

Comfortable bed, nice view from room and from chairs in lawn outside. Breakfast was good. Host was friendly and helpful. Close to boat tours, beach and restaurants. The coastal walk at Kaikoura is nice, lots of seals and birds along a rocky coastline.

Nothing about place. Seas were somewhat rough so we opted out of Whale tour. Dolphin tour indicated that seas were moderate and so I chanced it and wife opted out again. Even with taking seas sickness pills, I still got sick as did about 10% of the people on the tour. If prone to seasickness, definitely take medicine and/or only go out if seas are calm.

Fantastic view. Great breakfast. Convenient location. Spacious and comfortable room. Quiet. Friendly and flexible host who kindly agreed to serve us breakfast after our early morning excursion. .

"This must be the nicest property in town. The view is incredible!"

This was such a delightful surprise. I could’ve spent all day on the veranda in the peaceful backyard. The owners and staff were all lovely and so helpful and nice to chat with. The fruit salad at breakfast was the best I’ve ever had!

A wonderful experience, fabulous hosts nothing was any trouble and they made us feel like part of the family. Would highly recommend staying at this property. Great views and handy location, just a short walk to town with numerous shops and restaurants that cater for all tastes. A good breakfast was included in our stay and it was a great start to the day, very enjoyable and a high standard of food provided to kick the day along.

Nothing not to like about our stay, could not fault the accommodation, the hosts or the location.
