Cara Lodge, Comfortable Self Check-in En-suite Guest Rooms

A clean, bright and spacious room with all basic necessities. The location was ideal. Scenery gorgeous. The whole town is steeped in history. An hour walk to the Scottish border. A short train ride to Edinburgh and Newcastle. Beautiful town. People are lovely and super friendly. Pubs and restaurants are warm and welcoming.

Ruhige Lage, sauberes Zimmer. Betten waren bequem. Im Erdgeschoss gibt es einen Gemeinschaftsraum und eine super ausgestattete Einbauküche. Es gab ein Problem mit unserer Buchung via booking. Craig war sofort erreichbar und sehr freundlich und hat das dann geregelt. Wir bekamen ein anderes Zimmer .

Es gibt leider keinen Kleiderschrank. Die Treppen sind ziemlich steil.

The room was a lovely big room, very clean with fresh bedding and towels. The bathroom also lovely and clean I would highly recommend staying here and the owners are amazing and answer all messages very quickly,

Location perfect for me as close to train station but also easy to walk into and around town.

The room has tea/coffee/milk sachets, kettle and TV. There is a communal kitchen/dining/lounge area for guests to use with all amenities. An iron and hairdryer are available to use and found on the 1st floor landing.

Easy to find

Very noisy as the room was at the front and traffic noise didn't stop until late.
