This hotel is right on the sea front many rooms have sea views it is close to the centre, bus and rail station. The food is good the rooms are clean, you are made to feel welcome by all the staff. Malcolm and Mandy the owner's can't do enough to make your stay enjoyable. There is a bar where everyone met in the evening. Don't miss this gem. Will be back

We enjoyed every part of the holiday we have been many times to paington but never have gone back to the same place, we are definitely going back to the Briars guest house, very friendly,the food is really good and near to everything, looking forewarned to next year

Couldnt get better hosts, very nice people, b&b more than hotel, location spot on. If traffic noise is a problem, ask for back room if available, I'm noise sensitive so very good ear plugs helped, new Thai restaurant opened up in amongst main st amusment And nic knack shops, very very good, not expensive. Breakfast very good at briars, how you want it, nothing any trouble. Would stay again, thanks, Malcolm and Mandy.
Very welcoming, friendly. Couldnt do enough for you. Nice breakfast. Always plenty of Filtered water if required. Outstanding view of Paignton seafront. Highly recommended. Will be back again ! Thank you.
