Well situated hotel, adequate off-street parking, shower was more of a drizzle (possibly because it was a second floor room), room was smaller than expected but adequate
We had a wonderful stay where the owners were friendly and welcoming and the breakfasts were fantastic. The hotel is central to the facilities and so is well placed near the sea front. Parking was ample and the room was clean, well decorated and comfortable.
Our first visit to Devon, very comfortable, clean, large en suite room with sea views. Mandy and Malcolm were wonderful,attentive hosts, they set us up for the day with a great choice for breakfast. Advised us on local attractions and restaurants.
very friendly welcome, lovely people very well positioned .Room was a bit small but very clean . Food very good and a good selection. Would have liked a proper bar that was open more and thought breakfast could have been available from 8 till 10 not 9.
We had a lovely stay at the Briars. Malcolm and Mandy were so friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We had the family room, which was lovely - very clean and very comfortable - especially the beds. There was a good choice for breakfast, the fresh blueberries and strawberries were gorgeous, full breakfast was really nice - lovely good quality produce - especially the bacon. They work so hard and it shows. It was our first visit to the Briars but it won't be our last.
Lovely B & B with free parking and really friendly, chatty owners. Good breakfast. And right opposite Paignton beach. We booked the only room they had left which was the small double but it was ideal for us and it had a great view of the courtyard.
A very pleasant stay in a very well run and hospitable guest house.Would definitely recommend the Briars to anyone who was interested .Perfectly sited to enjoy Paignton.Excellent !
it was a very nice place to stay and the service was very good
Lovely hotel, room was really nice. The area was really nice, close to the sea front and short walking distance from the town centre. Mandy and Malcolm we're really nice people, very pleasant and always there when you needed them. Will deffo go back and stay again.
