Lovely location. Efficient and friendly staff. Good real ales in bar. Comfortable room. Amazingly good value.

lots of walking on door step, weather perfect and hotel in prime position and has everything you need. We will definitely be booking another holiday at this hotel again.

We had a very pleasant stay at The Patterdale the views from our room were stunning the food was excellent and the staff were very attentive. It had plenty of walks within a short travelling distance although anywhere we wanted to visit was not far away would definitely go back xx

Lovely hotel, nice staff there is always a warm welcome at the Patterdale hotel, the food is excellent and the rooms are warm and comfortable. I have been many times and hope to return again in the future.

Ideal location for Hellvellyn and surrounding Ullswater biking/walking trails and for pub visiting. Very friendly, helpful staff. Excellent value for money for full board accomodation. Everyone we spoke to were returning guests with nothing but praise for the place. They even have a bike garage. Ok its not the Savoy Hotel but for the price it can't be matched.

Pleasant nights stay lovely breakfast and clean rooms with all facilities well maintained. Lovely hot shower and a view of the hills I would recomend this hotel and I would stay again.

Stayed one night dinner bed and breakfast. Food was lovely, good portions. Staff were friendly, bar area was comfortable and cool in the scorching hit weather. Excellent value booking through Hotels.com. we really enjoyed our stay and would love to return
