Bear Crickhowell

Location was ideal. Room was beautifully decorated with lots of lovely touches. Breakfast in the morning was freshly cooked and exactly as requested. We also had dinner in the pub area which was also excellent. The staff were so helpful from the receptionist to the waiting staff - excellent service.

it was excellent dinner and all 13 ssaid so breakast was equally good service good and beers and drinks great

Lovely sized room, great bathroom with wonderfully powerful shower. Good selection of drinks and biscuits on hospitality tray. Food was excellent, both breakfasts and an evening meal on our first night which was exceptionally good. The Bear is in the heart of the village which was so convenient. Our room, 23, was along an outside corridor with its own door which we really liked.

Loads of steps everywhere, it’s not a complaint, it’s a very old lovely building but probably not for those who have mobility issues.

Very spacious and well appointed bedrooms. We had a lovely big room for our family gathering dinner. Great location.
