InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort by IHG

We stayed here for a week during a cold/wet spell but despite that, it was a magical place to relax and also use as a base to see Danang. The resort is huge and you need time to get from point to point. Your room/suite/villa is so nice that you can hang out there but you really need to get out and about. We took advantage of the yoga studio, the fitness center, the pool, and the beach. You can have a golf cart take you around the resort, but it was actually nice to just walk (get in your steps) and really get familiar with the grounds. The rooms are fantastic - huge, well decorated, fabulous bathrooms and showers facing the outdoors, and balconies that give you crazy views. Beware of the monkeys who will come onto your balcony in search for food - clearly prior guests have fed them and habituated them. The breakfast buffet is sumptuous - a great mix of Western and Asian food, a great coffee station - the French pastries and fresh fruit are not to be missed. The Concierge is helpful and you can text with them from your room. The resort offers a shuttle bus that takes you to Hoi An and back - that was definitely worth the day trip to check out. Taxis and Grabs are easy to take to/from Danang itself and it's also worth checking out the sites in town to mix things up. All in all - if you have a chance to check this part of the world out, definitely do it! Be forewarned though - there are a lot of influencer wannabe guests who are livestreaming or doing photo shoots while there. Don't mind them - if you're in their shot, so be it!

Fantastic experience. La Madison 1888's vision was spectacularly executed within the dinner space and the food. The courses were beautifully presented and explained. The wine was paired brilliantly by their friendly and ecstatic sommelier. After our meal, we received a tour of La Maison and listened to the inspiration and story of the restaurant. Truly a restaurant of Michelin quality.

excellent experience, possibly the nicest resort we've ever been to. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a special experience, and the villa was absolutely gorgeous. highly reccommend!

Emplacement vue et personnel

Citron restaurant: staff not profesional- they do not read reservation notices. We booked table for lunch ( 13:30) many days in advance, choosing the most complex ( free flow champagne) from their menu and notified one of us is pescatarian. We also mentioned it is a special anniversary of our marriage. First, they have presented the menu a la carte and after they realized who we are, presented us the menu we have booked, but told us they do not have the fish from the main course ( no ideea we noticed one of us is pescatarian). Secondly, they informed us we have to release the outdoor table we have booked for our anniversary, by 14:30, as far as there will start afternoon tea session. Why did they confirmed the table for 13:30 when we specified the most complex menu from their offer, remains a mystery 😃. Finally, but not last, at the end of the service, I expected in vane on the desert a message happy anniversary, then I realized have no ideea about our exchange of mails. Last, something never happened in my long life and travel experience all over the world: a door women ( instead of thanking us for the visit and almost 10 million Vdong spent there), asked us Have you paid the bill? Life experience overheads horror movies, no?

We had the most amazing anniversary stay at the InterContinental Peninsula in Da Nang. The property is absolutely spectacular—beautifully designed, incredibly clean, and truly feels like a luxury escape. The staff were outstanding and went above and beyond to accommodate us in every possible way, making our celebration extra special. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and one we’ll always remember. Highly recommend!

The place was very elegant and the food was superb , the service was impeccable . They made my daughter’s birthday celebration even more special with a nice dessert and a rose for her to keep. We were able to meet their Chef de Cuisine to thank him for a very delectable food experience .

Perfect place to stay in Danang. Everyone is so kind and all the places are soooo beautiful. Especially thanks to Mr. Son Dinh, he is a perfect guy to take a beautiful photo.

This was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We spent several days here on our honeymoon, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The design—both of the property and the rooms—is stunning and highly functional. Every detail felt thoughtfully considered, making it easy to stay organized and elevating the overall sense of luxury. Service was excellent throughout. The Italian restaurant was exceptional, cocktail hour and afternoon tea were superb, and breakfast at Citron was truly unforgettable. If I had to offer any critiques: * The food and service at the Japanese restaurant did not match the high standard of the rest of the experience. * While I loved the full activity schedule, it would have been helpful to receive it in advance of our stay. * Booking requirements for the activities felt restrictive—many activities were fully booked early, and it seemed some guests reserved spots without showing up, which was disappointing.
